BULLET WOUND

Lawrence sat on the edge of her bed in the corner of the dormitory, she looked to her right and smiled at Bellamy, who instantly smiled back at her. It had been two days and since she asked for him to come back, he had been there.

I miss you.

I miss you too, he says.

She looked up at him with tear filled eyes as he placed his hand over hers. He was sat right next to her, but she knew that the bed wasn't dipping from where he was sat. She knew that he wasn't actually there. It was hard for her to wrap her head around, especially since there was a light pressure from where his hand was over hers. She knew that the delinquents had started to look at her more now that her mumblings had become incessant.

"Miller." Monty shouted happy to see the boy.

"Look who finally got released." Jasper said and looked back to Lawrence, but the girl hadn't jumped up like everyone had expected, instead she turned to face Bellamy.

Go, he says.

Bellamy nodded as the girl looked up to Miller happily, she was eager to go to her best friend, but he was stopping her. Lawrence took a last glance at Bellamy before jumping up and running into Miller's arms. Miller didn't hesitate on catching the girl and spinning her around, his large arms around her waist as she buried her head into the crook of his neck.

You're okay.

Miller is okay.

He is alive.

"I'm okay, Daisy Wick." Miller smiled reassuringly as he placed Lawrence firmly back on the ground.

She had been so worried about him, she knew he was alive, which was a small reassurance to her but Wallace refused to let her see him due to concerns of raditation. Lawrence tried to understand, she guessed that the pople in the mountain didn't want to die, which made sense. The only comfort that she had was that Bellamy had assured her that Miller was safe and doing okay.

"Miller. I'm glad you're okay." Clarke said as she sat up from her spot on the bed. From the corner of her eye she saw Lawrence look up to her left and smile.

You were right.

Aren't I always, Bellamy says.

Funny. No, you're not always right.

Infact, Bell, most of the time you're wrong.

Clarke looked to Miller, who also seemed to have noticed the small action, but neither of them said anything. It was probably just another coping mechanism to deal with the loss of Bellamy. Miller just wrapped his arm around Lawrence and pulled her into his chest, pressing a soft kiss onto her temple.

"Yeah. Only took, what, 3 surgeries?" He turned to Maya with a smile before looking down at Lawrence. "I hear my best girls fitting in perfectly."

Lawrence looked over to Maya, who sheepishly looked down at the floor. She gulped, her fingers coming up to fiddle the necklace that she took during their first day here out of quarentine. It was a small bumble bee pendant and now she couldn't help but associate it with Bellamy Blake.

You know?

The bee and B for Bellamy.

Get it?

Miller mustered up a smile for the girl as she muttered to herself. He had apologised on the behalf of Lawrence to Maya when he first found out. He told Maya that she was going through alot with the fact that she had just lost the first person that she had ever loved.
