Chapter 14

The Tattoo

I was running in the midst of a dark abyss again.. But this time, unlike the previous dreams I had, I noticed that I had small arms and feet, and my body changed like I was turned into a little girl.

With my short legs, I couldn't run fast enough from whoever is chasing me. 

I was bracing myself, for I know that my hair will be pulled back any minute now.. and there it goes again. The hand seemed bigger and scary, now that I'm in a child's form.. It's a relief that I can't feel pain in a dream, but whenever this scene shows up, I'm always taken by surprise.

There's the crucifix tattoo again.. I've been dreaming about it for so long that I think I'd be able to draw it afterwards..

"Lian!"

Napamulat ako nang may narinig na tumawag saking pangalan. I got confused for a second, because I woke up in a different room. Napalingon ako sa katabi, and that's when I remember that I'm in Damon's house.

I just couldn't resist him. After our heated encounter last time, he pleaded me to sleep here in his place kahit isang beses lang. Gusto daw kasi nya kong makatabi matulog at mayakap magdamag.

Ako naman itong marupok, pumayag kaagad. Nagdahilan na lang ako kina mama na nag-ayang mag overnight ang mga groupmates ko para i-finalize ang thesis namin.

Yes.. I know. I've been a very bad daughter.. And I'm not even gonna try to justify my actions. I am fully aware that what I'm doing is wrong in the eyes of society. But I don't care anymore, as long as I'm happy and so is Damon.

I look at the handsome guy, still sleeping beside me. Tumagilid ako ng higa and I caress his cheeks softly. I can't help but think that he really is a man carved to perfection.. And I am one lucky girl to have this kind and gorgeous man by my side.

Dahan dahan kong inalis ang kamay ni Damon na nakapulupot sa bewang ko. He's sound asleep, kaya nagawa kong bumangon ng kama nang hindi sya nagigising.

I didn't mind that I was naked when I headed towards the bathroom. I brush my teeth and took a bath. Doon na rin ako nagbihis ng damit sa loob.

When I got out, napangiti ako nang nakitang tulog pa rin si Damon.. I decided to head to the kitchen and cook us some breakfast. Kahit papano alam ko naman kung pano mag-prito ng itlog at gumawa ng fried rice out of our left over kanin from last night.

Hindi na muna ko kumain, because I wanted to eat breakfast with Damon. I didn't want to wake him up, kaya nag-isip na lang ako ng pwedeng gawin.
