It was about 13 years ago that I met a brown eyed boy with black fluffy hair name David . I was the new girl at the church and he was the awkward boy. People usually say "love at first sight" doesn't exist; I wish they were right. David viewed me as a friend; he unintentionally friendzoned me. I could live with that. I fell more and more for David when we went to the Museum of Science and Industry with our moms, when we sat by each other during the service, when we played soccer in the basement... basically every time I saw him. David was there for me when I broke the ceiling light. I was there for him when he fell off the ice, and I comforted him when he embarrassed himself in front of his crush. He was there with me in a lot of situations-we were best friends- I just wished he saw me as a little more. These songs remind me of why I fell for David and what I really wanted from him.
