It was unanimously decided that Jenna would stay in my old room and I'd stay in my parent's old room. We were organizing how she wanted it when her phone rang. She excused herself and and went into the hallway to speak.
I decided to take this time to call Hayley. I still felt butterflies whenever I thought of talking to her again. I waited for her to answer and felt a small smile make its way onto my face.
"Hey, Tay!" She answered, sounding happy.
"Hey, Hayles!" I sat on the bed and crossed my legs so I was sitting like a preschooler. Criss-cross applesauce. Oh, childhood, where art thou?
"What's up?"
"Oh, I was wondering if you guys wanted to help us out with the shows. It can be the 3 of you or just you. I don't know of the guys would be too busy." I shrugged even though I knew she couldn't see.
"Jerm will probably wanna stay with his family, but I think Taylor would go with me."
I grinned, these two shows were gonna be great, "Thanks, Hayley! I gotta tell the guys, see ya in a couple days!" I said, hanging up afterward. I texted the guys to get their asses on Skype and ran to get my laptop, quietly walking past Jenna, who was still on the phone, she looked pissed.
I got on Skype and called the guys. Jordan and Rob were on. Cameron was Jordan so I didn't have to wait for him. After a few minutes of mindless chatter and waiting for Mike, he finally got on and I could tell them.
"So, as you guys obviously failed to notify me," I began, "we have a show on Friday and Sunday. I asked Hayley if-"
"Hayley?" Rob interrupted, "as Hayley Williams your ex girlfriend? Lead singer of Paramore?"
"The girl you so very obviously still love?" Jordan cut in.
"Yeah, yeah." I laughed, flipping them off. "Anyway, I asked her if they'd like to open up the shows for us and she said yes!"
"Yes!!" They chorused. In that moment, I heard Jenna groan loudly and all the guys' faces went from excitement to confusion. She came in seconds later and dropped down on the bed. "Who the fuck is that?" Cameron asked.
Jenna jumped up at the sound of his voice and I laughed. "I'm sorry, I didn't know you were talking to anyone." she apologized, getting up off the bed.
"No, it's okay, stay. they're annoying fucks, but they're nice." I laughed, pulling her down next to me. "Guys, this is Jenna, she just moved in. Jen, this is Mike, Rob, and Jordan and Cameron, my band mates and friends." I said, pointing at their respective sections of the screen.
"Hey!" Jenna greeted awkwardly, making me laugh again.
"Does she have an accent? You have an accent, right?" Mike asked curiously. I rolled my eyes and watched her for a couple seconds.
She smiled, "Yep, Australian."
Jordan and Cameron started pushing each other out of the frame. We watched them for a bit, until Rob told them to stop.
We spent about an hour talking. Jenna got along with them well, which was great considering she was gonna have to deal with them soon.
For some reason, Jordan's words kept turning over in my head. The girl you so very obviously still love? What if this whole thing was just my subconscious trying to get us back together?
I pushed that thought from my mind and turned to Jenna, "So, what had you releasing the universal bear mating call?"
"What?" She asked, eyebrows furrowing.
I shook my head in mock disappointment, "Never mind. Why were you angry earlier?"
She stopped putting her clothes in her closet and turned to me, "Oh, Autumn called. again. She said she wants to talk... And she's terrified that the person who broke into her apartment might come back for her."
"Don't let her get to you, drop that bitch, she cheated on you. You deserve so much better." For some reason, the idea of Autumn and Jenna out together in a public place angered me.
She sighed, clearly frustrated. I probably wasn't helping, oops.
On a whim, I jumped up and grabbed her hands, pulling her along. I started jumping excitedly, encouraging her to do the same. "C'mon," "jump" "with" "me", I said between each jump until she finally did.
I led her to the living room and we started jumping on the couches, because beds were obviously too mainstream.
Once we were tired out, I made hot cocoa, opened one of the windows a little bit, and put on some cartoon Christmas movies on Netflix. Fuck society, it's still winter.
I handed Jenna her cup and draped a blanket over the two of us with her help. the rest of the day, we stayed on the couch and watched movies on Netflix.

A/N: Has anyone seen the movie Two Brothers? It's about two tiger brothers who get separated when young and I'm not gonna give much else away bc I want you guys to watch it if you haven't. It was my favorite movie when I was a kid and distinctly remember that movie fucking me up so many times, wow. Nevertheless, I'd always beg my mom to rent it out for me every weekend.
