**Thur**

I was woken up the sound of pounding on the front door. I groaned and yelled at Jenna to get it. The excessive knocking kept going until I realized that Jenna was in the shower.

Groaning again, I rolled out of bed and shuffled towards the front door. my hair probably looked like shit. my breath probably smelled like death, but I didn't care, I just wanted to get rid of the person who'd woken me up.

I opened the door to see Hayley and Taylor York. York shot me a peace sign and I rolled my eyes at him. My brain hadn't fully processed their presence. "Hi," I said. I could've been talking to a murderer and I wouldn't have noticed. The only coherent thought in my brain was going back to bed. "Make yourselves at home. Food in the fridge and shit. Good night." I said, shuffling back to bed.

I could hear them laughing behind me and, while focusing on their laughter, I bumped into a now fully dressed Jenna. "Tay?" She asked.

I sighed. Was the whole world bent on not letting me sleep? "What?"

"Hayley and Taylor are here." She kept her voice even, but she held onto my shoulders.

Slowly but surely, I began to gain full control of my brain. I looked back at them and my heart started pounding. I shrugged out from under Jenna's hands and ran to the bathroom.

After making myself presentable and sneaking in a short pep talk, I made my way to where Hayley, York, and Jenna sat. Hayley stood up and hugged me tightly. I buried my face into her neck, just like I used to do.

We stood like that for a while until Jenna cleared her throat. I looked back at her. She had a tight smile on her face, her eyes seemed a bit annoyed, but amused.

I pulled away from Hayley and sat on the couch next to Jenna, grinning at York. Hayley sat next to him.

"How'd you sleep?" Hayley asked me, not breaking eye contact with me.

"It was good until some people began breaking my door in." I joked, looking pointedly at them.

"Blame him." Hayley said, nudging Taylor.

He laughed, "You're the one who told me to knock!"

"So, who's hungry?" I interrupted before they could start bickering. I've been in the middle of their bickering matches before. Not fun. At all.

I stood up and so did Hayley, "I'll help you." I shrugged and went into the kitchen with Hayley, leaving Taylor and Jenna to get aquatinted.

I took out a bunch of fruits for some fruit salad because fitness. Hayley took out the cutting board from where it was always kept and grabbed a knife, starting to cut up some peaches and shooting the seed into the trash can as if it were a basketball.

I was cutting up a melon and joking around with Hayley when she turned serious. I glanced at her, "You alright?"

She met my gaze and smiled, "Yeah, I'm fine. I was just wondering.. Are you and Jenna.. Together?"

I laughed, shaking my head. Did we give that impression? "No, we're just friends. She's dealing with some stuff and needed a place to stay." I clarified. But why would Hayley care? Before I could ask anything, she grabbed my waist and kissed me.
