He then got his sword and gotten ready to slice him.

At the Special Forces, the place was shaking and Y/n was in her bed, She fell onto the floor and gotten up herself. And Pasts of Johnny, Sonya, and Jax appeared. Y/n was wide eyed as well. "By the Elder Gods!" Raiden said and he disappeared, and the amulet was the only thing there, and it was surprising to see what was happening around them.

"The amulet! What happened to raiden?!" Y/n said, worried looking at the amulet. And back in outworld, Pasts and people who were dead appeared back and it was surprising. He walked to see the others, all right before him. "General Kotal?" Shao Kahn said, unappealed with him here. "Kotal Kahn." "Kahn? Pathetic fool. You pretend to my throne!" "It is mine, by right and deed. You were killed, long ago. As was your repugnant spawn, mileena."

Raiden then said "We were at the Mortal Kombat tournament. Kung Lao had just defeated Shang Tsung and Quan Chi." "We are decades beyond those events." "For us, they happened only moments ago." "What game are you playing, Raiden? What magic powers this delusion?" "If it is a delusion, it is one we all share. Is it possible that the past and future are colliding?" Raiden said. But he is reputed to be a man of honor." "It's true. I know him well." Jade added. "Then we must navigate this crisis by aiding him." Raiden said. Shao Kahn then stepped on Kotal's hand and he groaned in pain. Liu Kang then bicycle kicked him back to a wall, and the two fought, and raiden tagged along. "Stupid Osh-Tekk. Destroying your future, crossing Shao Kahn." "It is you with no future, Baraka. Your Tarkatans are dead. They allied with Mileena against me." "Persist, and you will die again." Kotal said.

Jade asked, having a hand on his face. "Shao Kahn betrayed me. Ambushed my legion. I was kept alive for Shang Tsung's experiments. Only when he died, I was freed." "Seeing you again makes it worth living this nightmare." "I will not lose you twice." Kotal sweared. The other door opened and it revealed to be Erron Black. "Go help the Earthrealmers, I will deal with this." He then walked up with Erron and said "Your future self is ally, not enemy, Erron Black." "To hell with the future. I live in the moment." "Given who you become, I would not have thought you so reckless." Kotal said.

He left him alone down there and helped out the others. He then noticed Jade down and ran over to him. "I will have my throne!" Shao Kahn yelled. "Outworld rejected your pointless wars." "Empires must expand or die!" Shao Kahn said, and clashed into one another. Everyone in the arena cheered on and it was going bad so far, Kotal was almost closed to killed. "Your conquests served you alone, not Outworld's people!" Kotal said.

"You are Kahn no more." A bunch of insects flew and Kotal knew who it was, it was "D'Vorah." A portal opened and she held a hand out, making him going to D'Vorah, The others did the same and by then, it was all over. "I have not know stranger days." "Kotal Kahn. I am Raiden, Portector of Earthrealm." "I know you." "We are acquainted in your era?" "We were allies who became enemies." Kotal said. "I am surprised, given our shared antipathy towards Shao Kahn." "Everything changed after your defeat of Shinnok." Liu Kang was surprised to hear that, Kotal then finished explaining what happened back then. Raiden was sad to hear from that past. "My Raiden wears Shinnok's Amulet as a symbol if his fury." Kotal said.

"Be assured, Kotal Kahn. I am not that Raiden. We have common causes. Both in solving this temporal crisis, and in defeating Shao Kahn." Raiden said. "Agreed." Kotal said. "Liu Kang, Kung Lao, and I will return to Earthrealm and learn what temporal anomalies have occurred there. We must better understand the phenomenon we are experiencing." "I will have my scouts track Shao Kahn." Liu walked up to Kitana and said "So, this is goodbye." "Only goodbye for now. I can't leave while Shao Kahn threatens Outworld. I must seek justice for what he did to my family, and to all Edenia." Kitana said. "I will come back for you. To aid you, Princess." He bowed Down and then when he sat up, Kitana hugged him, and Liu Kang smiled at himself. And be went on with the others, going back into Earthrealm with both Kung Lao and Liu Kang.

"You evade my questions, D'Vorah. I routed your people. Burned this hive. Yet you aid me." Shao Kahn said. Kollector went to Shao Kahn's ear and whispered to him. "Kotal "Kahn". How is it in dead and he sits on my throne?" Shao Kahn said. "You tried merging Earthrealm into Outworld. The Elder Gods intervened, and Raiden killed you. That's when Mileena became Kahn." Kollector explained. "After This One killed your daughter, Kotal claimed the throne." D'Vorah said.

Shao Kahn was furious to hear that from her and turned around to face her straight, yelling "You killed Mileena?! If this is true, you will die!" The two were about to throw hands, but Kronika came on in and said "D'Vorah is under my protection, Shao Kahn. As are you." "I am Kronika." She introduced herself. "The legends are true?" "I am displeased with how the history has unfolded." She said. "So you broke time?" Shao Kahn said. She then explained what happened to the timeline. "How will fighting your battles benefit me?" "I offer a greater empire in the New Era, Shao Kahn. Raiden will not exist to thwart you." "You can wipe Raiden from history?" "It is an immense task, requiring great power and effort."
