Chapter 1

4 years and 5 months after...

Jungkook's POV

"Once again, I am impressed by your report, Jungkook. Keep it up." Our manager cobgratulated me as he scanned my report making me smile.

"Kahamsahamnida. I'll continue to do my best." I said at the same time, bowing down.

"You know Jungkook, I am impressed how you managed to stay smiling after what happened." He said as he leaned forward on his table.

"Ahh- hehe, past is past, never discuss. Besides, life goes on" I said with a smile making him chuckle lightly.

"Okay, I won't ask you further. Oh, and as the new section head, replacing... Nayeon... you are incharge of the task." He said slightly lowering his tone when he mentioned the name 'Nayeon'

How I longed for that name to be mentioned again...

I stood straight with an eyebrow raised. "What task?" I asked in confusion.

"We will be having a collab for our next project. Tomorrow, we will held a bid meeting together with the officials of that company." He said.

I nodded. "What is the nam eof the company we will be collabing with?" I asked.

"TOTT company" My eyes almost shot wide open upon hearing the company name.

TOTT stands for the talk of the town and it really meant literally.

That company have been standing for almost 10 years and it's amazing that every project of theirs is more than successful.

Having a collab with them would increase our business popularity and it would be such honor to collab with them.

"Really manager nim? Aren't you joking?" I asked not sure if I heard it right.

"Why would I lie about that? Now, make sure to have the event organized to make a good impression on the company." I nodded.

"I'll go now manager nim." He nodded so I turn around and exited his office.

"Wah! Jinjja??!" Sana asked in a little raised voice making everyone turn their heads at us.

Sana quickly apologized then everyone continued what they were doing a while ago.

"That's nothing to be shocked about. After all, we always put up successful projects." Yoongo confidently said making me, and the girls laugh.

"I guess, we are slowly being known. We might have to work harder due to this." Jimin stated making everyone nod.

"Also, Jungkook, about her I still haven't made communication with her." Sana said in an apologetic tone.

I chuckled. "I should be apologizing for causing such trouble to you." I said.

"Maybe she changed her phone number, or her social media." Jihyo said earning a shaking head from Sana.

"I have been watching her social medias. There are times when I catch her online. Yet, I can't visit her profile because she may have blocked me." Sana said.

"Same goes with mine."

"Me too."

I sighed lowly and tyrned to face Jimin who gave me a smile.

No one really knows why Nayeon gave up everything just because of me.

She resigned, she haven't even visited Nini and her auntie.

Speaking of Nini and her auntie, we are still in good terms but we never communicated with each other lately.

And about me and Bea...

We both have cut ties with each other. She did confessed saying how she loved me even during me and Coleen were a couple.

Yet, I apologized and confronted her telling I love Nayeon more than her.

For a few days, she kept on begging me to love her yet I still don't. So after that, she said she will be moving on.

There was this day also when I finally found the answer why Nayeon didn't even bothered to let me explain to her because Bea said that she went to Nayeon's house and told her to leave us alone saying we were a 'couple'.

How she found out about Nayeon?

Due to her 'love' for me, she did a background fheck and found out that I liked Nayeon so she dig further to know where she lives and her background.

I wanted to case a file for her due to that but I gave her another chance and now, she is living a beautiful life with his boyfriend and one of the employee of a famous company in London.

I couldn't even imagine she is like that...

"Ne~ make sure you will eat your dinner, arrasseo? Annyeong." As soon as I arrive at my house, I heard how Gray flirts with Nini, who is now his girlfriend.

Imagine, Gray, who is a few years younger than me has his very own love life while I'm here-

I cleared my throat making him turn to me.

"Hyung, how long have you been there?" He asked.

I scoffed. "Lobg enough to hear you being all lovey dovey to Nini." I said making him chuckle.

"Don't be too bitter hyung. Just go and find some chic." He jokingly said making him glare at him.

"Since when did I taught you about things like that?" I asked.

He chuckled. "Mianhe hyung, you seem like you won't even have interest in dating til Nayeon noona comes back-"

Gray must have realized what he said making him stop from what he is about to say and look at me apologetically.

I sighed at the back of my mind and gave him a weak smile.

"I'll head to bed now. Don't stay up too late." He nodded and at the same time, I turn around and head towards my bedroom.

Third person's POV

"Ne. Thanks for today."

"No problem. Besides, we're like siblings now."

"*chuckles* I guess so."

"So, you'll finally show up tomorrow?"

"Mhm, it's time for the media to know that 'head' who is making such great project these past 4 years after the former one retired."

"Well, call me if you need some help. Tho I'm at another country for now, I'll help you as much as I can."

"Thanks. Bye now. Our CEO has just texted me and I have to go to his office now."

"Okay. Bye"

"Bye"

I suddenly made the 1st chapter because I got so bored hahaha.
