Hazel's POV:

That night I was alone in the place me and Noah usually go to together, to think. it felt weird being alone there.

I stared deep into the water trying to count every star that reflected in the water overthinking my decisions

I felt someone's presents and who else would it be.

"Overthinking it?" He asked

"Am I a bad person Noah?"

"No what you did today was totally not badass" he said sarcastically "anyhow she fuckin deserved it" he said

"Yeah but she used to be my bestfriend and what I did just didn't feel right" I said

"Well it should"

I looked up at him, and he made his way to sit beside me with one leg bended resting his arm on it.

"Black is my favorite color."

I woke up the next morning feeling much better.

What Noah had said brightened me even though it didnt make me any less of a bad person.

So I picked up my stuf and went to school.

Not surprised at Maddy for coming she couldn't miss her second day of detention.

"Remember sixth grade when we all decided to tell our crushes we liked them?" I said.

"Yea, you and Maddy were the only ones that didnt get rejected" Lucy beamed.

"I remeber I was depressed for almost a month" said Veronica as she took a bite from her salad.

"We were so stupid back then to like those boys" I sighed.

"What kind of boys do you like now?" Whispered Noah.

"Get your hand off of me." I whispered back.

"Pfft, I bet they like toxic guys" said Leo.

"No we dont!" yelled back Lucy "calm down it was just a joke" he whispered to her making her nervous

"I just remembered!" Said Veronica resting her elbows on the table. "I have to start planning my moms birthday party, she's been having a rough week so I decided to make her a little surprise, Hey, anyone wanna volunteer in helping me?" She asked drifting her eyes from person to person

Until Marcos decided to volunteer.

"Great so come over after school, here's my number I'll text u the address" she said and handed him a little paper with her phone number written on it

"OoOo" whispered Lucy who was sitting on my other side

"Speaking of birthday parties I'm also planning a surprise for Blair next week" said Noah

"Interesting" I replied

"Any ideas what theme I'm lost."

"Dude you make her one every year, your supposed to be good at this!" Exclaimed Leo

"Yeah but she turning 13 and that's big, like really big, she's gonna want something more mature"

"I'll help" I sighed

He smiled relieved as if he was waiting for me to volunteer.

"We start next tomorrow" he said.

"The lake?"

"You bet!"

I guess you guys have noticed I've changed Addisons name to Hazel short for Hazelton which is what her mom calls her so don't be too surprised by reading her name differently don't worry you didn't lose it lmao.
