A lot of us struggle with this a lot *raises right hand and sighs*. We tend to make plans by worrying about tomorrow. For we don’t don’t know tomorrow brings this is why we must trust God. Before saying “ man I cant wait to wear my new dress Saturday” we should say “ if its God’s will I would love to wear my new dress Saturday “. God is pleased when we trust him and not worry about what tomorrow brings.
Matthew Chapter 6
v.25-Therefore I say unto you take no thought for your life. What ye shall eat or what ye shall drink nor yet for your body what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
s/n: Raiment means clothes *^*
s/n: God is telling us to stop worrying about all these things because he will always provide for us. Our “life” is worth more than the things we worry and contemplate about.
v.26- Behold the fowls of the air, for they sow not neither do they reap, nor gather into barns yet your Heavenly Father feedth them. Are ye not much better than they.
v.34- Take therefore no thought for the morrow, for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
s/n: it is sin to make plans ahead of God and we do this all the time. We don’t even realize it sometimes I know I don’t because I get overly excited about so many things I count so many eggs before my chicken hatch lol ;/ ..but we can always repent and tell our Heavenly Father to forgive us.
