he is the first mate of Uma's crew, taking Harry's would be spot in the d2 timeline,
he and Uma are not as close as she and Harry were, in fact the two hardly trust eachother when its not about the crew and gang antics, the only reason Uma hasn't booted him from her crew is because he's the closest thing to Harry she's got. hopefully you'll see the differences between Davy and harry as the character is revealed.
oh and also he carries jack the monkey around with him because Jack is adorable and i love the undead monkey.
