For Him (Part.1) | 14.

Rhys ran out of the room.

He ran down the hallway of the hospital catching the eyes of some visitors and nurses walking down the hall.

He ran into the waiting room and outside to his car that he had bought a month after deciding to stay on Earth.

He got into his car but didn't start it.

He leaned his head against the wheel and looked down at his folded hands thinking.

"Asch.. doesn't remember me." He said to himself.

"He doesn't remember me.."

"He doesn't.. remember.."

Rhys started to tear up a bit.

He said in his car for about 10 minutes sulking until he heard a tap on the other side of the window by the passengers seat.

He saw Leif standing outside the window, with a kind smile on his face.

Rhys unlocked the car.

Leif opened the door and got into the passengers seat.

Rhys looked back down at his hands.

"So." Leif said questioningly.

Rhys looked up at him with a confused face.

"Are you.. gonna tell me what's wrong..?" Leif said continuing his sentence.

"Oh um, it's nothing I'm fine." Rhys said wiping his tears and siting up straight with posture.

"Okay well obviously your not since your crying." Leif said.

Rhys sat in silence.

"Lorelai called and told me what happened, is Asch alright?" Leif asked.

Rhys then started to tear up at the sound of the name being spoken.

"Hey hey wait-!" Leif said opening the door.
He walked around to the side of the car where Rhys was and opened the door.

He crouched down and gave Rhys a hug.

"Hey um I know I'm not great at these type things, y'know comforting people but, tell me what's wrong. And don't say nothing." Leif said with a sympathetic look and tone.

Rhys wiped his tears again and hugged Leif back.

"Alright.." He replied.

Leif went back to his seat to listen to what Rhys had to say.

"Um well it started this morning.." Rhys started.

Rhys told Leif the whole story about what happened to Asch.

"Wait, you mentioned something about a thing that happened with Asch when you went to see him in the hospital room-?" Leif questioned curiosly.

"Oh yeah I must've skipped that part.." Rhys replied.

"When I came into the room I asked Asch if he was okay but then he said something that made my heart drop." Rhys continued a little teary eyed again.

"He.. he said.. he said, 'Who are you?'.." Rhys said as he started crying again.

"Oh my Irene.." Leif said putting his hand over his mouth.

Leif grabbed some tissues and handed them to Rhys. He wiped his eyes and looked down at his hands.

"Rhys." Leif said putting his hand on Rhys' shoulder.

Rhys looked up at Leif with damp eyes.

"It's alright.. I'm sure the amnesia is temporary. You'll get through this. We'll all get through this." Leif said, putting on his weird sort of creepy but charming smile on his face.

Rhys smiled slightly at this.

They then heard the sound of the back doors opening and shutting, they turned around and saw Noi and Pierce sitting in the backseats with smiles on their faces.

"Sorry, we couldn't help but ease drop." Noi said letting out a little chuckle. "Yes." Pierce added.

Rhys and Leif laughed at that comment.

"Let's go check on our friend." Leif said. They all nodded in agreement.

Helloooo!! I'm writing more this week because THANKSGIVING BREAK AND I GET THE WHOLE WEEK OFF HAHAHAHA- anyway so, first off thank you so much for 5.43k!!! It means a lot!

Also I am thinking about an ending for the story! Now don't worry, there's gonna be a lot more that's gonna happen before the end but I'm just letting you know that I know what I'm going to be doing for the ending!
