"He really grows on you, doesn't he?" Bruce started

"Loki's gonna drag this out. So, Thor, Tyra, what's his play?" Steve asked the Asgardians

"He has an army called the Chitauri. They're not of Asgard or any world known. He means to lead them against your people. They will win him the earth. In return, I suspect, for the Tesseract" Thor answered coming back to reality. Tyra nodded as she remembered what Odin told them beforehand

"An army? From outer space?" Steve asked

"Yes" Tyra answered

"So he's building another portal. That's what he needs Erik Selvig for" Bruce realised before Thor and Tyra both looked up at the name

"Selvig?" Thor asked

"He's an astrophysicist" Bruce explained

"Yes but he's a friend" Tyra explained back

"Loki has him under some kind of spell, along with one of ours" Natasha finally spoke up and Tyra looked around to Thor

"Can you break any spell like that?" Thor asked Tyra

"Possibly... it is hard to say without knowing how he caused it" Tyra told her brother

"I wanna know why Loki let us take him. He's not leading an army from here" Steve stated

"I don't think we should be focusing on Loki. That guy's brain is a bag full of cats, you could smell crazy on him" Bruce stated and Tyra scoffed at the statement with a tiny laugh within in

"Have care how you speak. Loki is beyond reason, but he is of Asgard, and he's our brother" Thor stated

"He killed eighty people in two days" Natasha told them

"He's adopted" Thor shrugged. Tyra shook her head before she looked down at the picture of her brother

"I think it's about the mechanics. Iridium, what did they need the Iridium for?" Bruce asked

"It's a stabilizing agent" Tony's voice said, they all looked around to see him walking in with Coulson
"I'll fly you there. Keep the love alive" Tony mumbled before he continued
"Means the portal won't collapse on itself, like it did at SHIELD" Tony explained and he turned to Thor
"No hard feelings, Point Break. You've got a mean swing" Tony said as he tapped Thors muscles
"Also, it means the portal can open as wide, and stay open as long, as Loki wants" Tony explained before he started to talk to the crew
"Uh, raise the mid-mast, ship the top sails. That man is playing Galaga! Thought we wouldn't notice. But we did" Tony yelled randomly and Tyra looked at her brother and then to Maria Hill who was stood the other side of her. Tony covered one eye as he looked at all of the screens
"How does Fury do this?" He asked

"He turns" Maria answered and Tony let out a small sigh almost

"Well, that sounds exhausting. The rest of the raw materials, Agent Barton can get his hands on pretty easily. Only major component he still needs is a power source. A high energy density, something to kick start the cube" Tony explained

"When did you become an expert in thermonuclear astrophysics?" Maria asked him

"Last night. The packet, Selvig's notes, the Extraction Theory papers. Am I the only one who did the reading?" Tony asked

"He got papers... that's unfair" Tyra stated

"Does Loki need any particular kind of power source?" Steve asked

"He's got to heat the cube to a hundred and twenty million Kelvin just to break through the Coulomb barrier" Bruce started to explain

"Unless, Selvig has figured out how to stabilize the quantum tunneling effect" Tony added
