Marinette's POV

We finished a handful of men and women's designs. A few of the fancy suits and street clothes concepts were winners for sure, who knew we'd all have so many ideas so quickly? Me and Nathaniel seem to be clicking a lot too, I just hope our designs turn out great in the end. Come on, Mr. Agreste is helping us. How could we not lose?

Not to mention my boyfriend Adrien, one of our more-than-willing guinea pigs for measurements.

I looked at all our sketches, finally seeing (Reader)'s. To be blunt, he isn't the best, but I liked what I saw. The headphones holding a broken heart together were a nice touch, so was the phrase "music is my favorite hiding place." The swirly music lines were cool looking too. I already have a few ideas from his designs. Some concepts I stuck with were hoodies and beanies for the coming winter months from his sketches. I quickly sketched a hoodie with the swirly music lines, mixing the cross (Reader) drew in-between them.

Nathaniel worked on the street clothes designs, while Adrien and Alya tackled the suit ideas. This is finally coming together, and I still can't believe it. Is this still real? I knew this was going to be an all-nighter, but I didn't know how much time had passed, seeing it was almost midnight from a short glance at my phone.

No one seemed to care since we kept working, ignoring whatever fatigue we were feeling. When my phone brought me back to my senses via a text from mom, I realized it was now midnight.

"Guys? Should we-" I said, cutting my sentence short

I looked throughout the studio, seeing I'm the only one left. Sighing, my arms propped me up on an unused table, stretching my limbs.

"No one's here." I said sighing

"Wow Marinette, you got so focused you didn't notice everyone left." Tikki said flying from my jacket hanging on a chair

"Yeah, it was pretty intense. I'm proud of the work we're doing, but I just don't want to lose this class rep election. Nervous doesn't begin to describe it." I replied

"For you and Alya, or for (Reader)?" Tikki said

"What kind of question is that? Of course for-"

"Marinette, I'm going to be blunt with you. If it wasn't for (Reader), you'd let the music club go under. Am I right?" She replied

"Tikki? Where are you getting this from? Of course I would save this club at school! With or without him. Yeah, I don't have much of a musical bone apart from singing and piano, but so what?" I stated

"I'm saying that maybe thanks to Alya and (Reader), you're becoming more passionate about music than you were before. Performance-wise." Tikki said bringing forth a new insight

"Tikki, you're right for once. Yeah, I had a few endeavors with instruments, but they never lasted. Now with the reality of us possibly losing the election, and this club; it's all sinking in. Whether it's Adrien teaching me piano again, or taking music classes; I want to know more. At least a bit to get my feet wet." I confessed

"I'm right all the time, and you know it. Just don't lose your head over this, okay?"

"I'll try, I am a perfectionist after all." I said

She flew back into my purse when Adrien entered the studio.

"Oh, you're still here?" He said

"Y-Yeah, when did everyone leave?" I asked

"A few minutes ago, you were so focused we didn't want to disturb you."

"Thanks, but I'm done for tonight." I said throwing my sketchbook in my bag, pulling my phone out
