My Opinions On All Total Drama Seasons

For those who don't know, I've loved Total Drama since around the release of Revenge Of The Island, so for around 7-8 years. You ever seen Survivor? Yeah, Total Drama is like that except it's teenagers, Canadian, animated, and because it's animated it's more brutal. So here's what I think of all the seasons (in order), spoiler warning

So Total Drama Island is my favorite season. It's the beginning of the show, how badly can they really mess it up (cough World Tour). Good conflicts, good characters, and it's suspenseful. But for some eliminations you can easily see from a mile away because it was already established from the get to like Eva's elimination (the first one) because she became a complete lunatic earlier and Trent's elimination because Leshawna told the entire island to vote off Trent (his elimination is still bullshit). Also with every season, there is an alternate ending. Depending on the region you live in, one character will win and in another region the other character will win. So yeah, my favorite season

I never really watched Total Drama Action. Instead of the island they are on a movie plot and the cast is cut in half to have only a few people from the last season competing. I just could not get into it, I really couldn't. But god damn they did my man Trent so bad he's genuinely a cool character and they made him into a nutjob which caused him and Gwen to break up. I just really don't care for this season

Total Drama World Tour. Never seen the entirety of it, and it's a mixed bag for me. It is the first and only season to be a musical, in which a song is played every episode. Have I mentioned they are now going around the world? Well they are, and the cast is roughly the same except we have two new characters: Sierra, a TD obsessed fan who has a huge thing for Cody. And Alejandro, a guy who uses his charms and good looks to manipulate usually women. The new villain (Alejandro) is actually pretty good (but let's be honest nobody can beat Heather) but the whole love triangle with Duncan, Courtney, and Gwen. They are really trying to ruin my favorite character and they most certainly did by having the whole Gwencan thing and then Courtney gets all pissed off and shit. World Tour I'll probably get into but it'll be real hard

I cannot say how much I love Total Drama Revenge Of The Island. We are back on the island, however it's filled with toxic waste and there are a bunch of mutated plants and animals. We also have a whole new cast of characters and let me go through them real quick: Staci is annoying, Dakota is came hungry, B's a silent genius, Dawn can talk to animals and read people's auras, Sam is a gamer, Brick is a military brat, Anne Maria is a Jersey Shore reject, Mike has Multiple Personality Disorder, Jo is athletic, Scott is the villain of this season, Zoey is a quiet but pushed to far and she becomes badass, Lightning is a dumb jock, and Cameron is a smart but weak guy. In thirteen episodes they had so much character development, especially between Mike and Zoey. The only complaint I really have for this season is that they give a little too much screen time to Mike and Zoey, but it's not so bad to me because they're some of my favorite characters in the show (Zoey's my favorite character from the season). Yeah, really good

TD All-Stars isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I thought it was pretty good when it first came out, now looking back I can see some problems. This time the island is free of toxic waste, and All-Stars has competitors from the first generation (Sierra, Alejandro, Duncan, Gwen, Courtney, Heather, and Lindsay) and second generation (Lightning, Jo, Zoey, Mike, Cameron, Sam, and Scott). Y'all thought World Tour ruined some of your favorite characters? Yeah, you've never heard of All-Stars. You might've figured by now, but my favorite character is Gwen, and there is zero resemblance of her from Island as there is in All-Stars. Duncan ain't the same, Lindsay, Lightning, Jo, Sam, and Sierra really have no reason to be here, and the villain oh good lord. The villain of this season is Mal, Mike's evil and supposedly "The Original" and it's something straight out of a Waccpad fanfiction. Alright I think I'm done explaining for this one we still got three more

TD Pakitew Island is easily the worst season yet. We have new characters (Beardo is a beatboxer, Leonard is too much of a D&D fan, Amy and Samey are the evil twin trope (Amy is the evil one), Rodney loves every woman who looks at him, Ella is a Disney Princess, Dave is a whiney nut, Scarlet is the smart villain, Max is trying to be Dr. Evil from Austin Powers, Jasmine is the female version of Steven Irwin, Sugar is Honey Boo Boo but older, Sky is as basic as you can get, and Shawn is always trying to survive a zombie apocalypse) and we're on a different island as the other one sank. Lame story, lame drama, lame characters the only characters I actually like are Jasmine, Sky, and Shawn

TD The Ridonculous Race is the first spin-off and I'm not going over the teams you can search it up. It's 18 teams of 2 people (some Total Drama characters are back too) and they go around the world. So instead of Survivor it's The Amazing Race. It's actually really good. Most of the characters are pretty good and the one's who aren't are off pretty early. And despite it being fast paced, the conflicts are really good. I love this season so much

Total Dramarama is the last one we have today and it's about classic characters but toddlers. Takes place in a daycare that is ran by Chef no less. Yeah I don't like it and it's non-canonical to the actually story
