5:50 p.m
She peaked out the window of the library to see the view of the lawn. It was nearly dark out. She watched Bonnie and the warlock twins, Scott and Evan Jackman, or as they liked to be called, the Jackmen, practice their spell. They'd already placed lanterns and candles around the area.

To the left of the lawn, Margo spotted Raiden the werewolf, sitting under a tree. He seemed to be meditating.

"What you looking at?" she heard Enzo ask from behind. It surprised her, as she hadn't heard him enter the room.

"Why is he doing that?" Margo asked, tapping the fine glass of the window to point at Raiden. Margo heard Enzo's footsteps approach before he came to stand by her. He pushed the curtain to the side and focused his gaze onto the boy meditating.

"Little dogs just trying to control himself for tonight."

"What do you mean?"

"On lunar eclipses, werewolves don't turn. They stay in their human form, but have the strength and speed of a wolf."

Margo didn't know what to say. Based on previous experiences, she knew not to hover over the subject. She only nodded and continued to curiously look around the room.

"What has Kai got you doing here?" Enzo asked as he plopped himself onto a large leather sofa. He shuffled his legs around to get comfortable.

"Kai wants me to save my energy for the eclipse. Why are you here?"

"I have some spare time." he stated while fidgeting with a pen by the side table.

"I meant in this house."

Enzo put the pen down and began to stare at nothing. Margo had a hunch that he was thinking of what to say. Ultimately, he looked disturbed. Enzo seemed hesitant to speak, but instead chuckled to himself.

"Honestly, Margret. Why don't you rest for a bit. Have a nap or something, long night tonight." he mumbled.

Enzo exited the room with haste, leaving Margo confused. She didn't take a spare moment to piece together why Enzo seemed so jumpy, only because of her plan; Follow Kai, find Damon, get Damon back, get what Damon stole from Kai and leave. She had no business worrying about Enzo.

7:30 p.m

It was sundown and the eclipse was about to begin. Everyone was on the lawn around a roaring fire the witches had built.

Margo stood by Bonnie closely for as long as she could. She was terrified to leave her friend, but more so to follow a monstrous boy to a different dimension.

She watched Kai stand fixed in one spot while he closed his eyes and breathed rhythmically.

"Now." he lowly grumbled.

The Jackmen gestured for Margo to step forward to stand beside Kai. She squeezed Bonnie's hand before Bonnie whispered her a good luck.

Kai was observing her with a look she could only describe as hunger. His eyes full of extol had welcomed Margo to take her place in front of him.

"Bennet-Start it."

Bonnie stepped beside Kai and Margo while holding both of their shoulders. She mumbled a few enchantments before signalling Raiden to come forward.

Raiden's eyes were a bright golden yellow and his face had turned to a dark purple. Veins surfaced at his temples and his mouth hung ajar while he seemed lifeless. Margo could hear low wheezing and growls escaping him.

"What's wrong with him?" she asked.

"It's the lunar eclipse. Little dog should be going crazy all over the place at this stage, but his meditation is working." Enzo answered. She remembered what he'd told her about werewolves gaining wolf strength on lunar eclipses, but not actually turning.

Evan handed Bonnie a small dagger and she swiped both Margo and Kai's forearms. Blood trickled down into a tiny basin.

"Vi, Kristi, Enzo." Bonnie called. The three vampires came forward and stood around Raiden. Vi and Kristi were on either side of the insensate werewolf while Enzo was in front. The two girls held onto Raiden while Enzo pulled something out of his pocket.

It was a peculiar looking item. Margo had to shift her gaze around, as Enzo's back was towards her. It took a while because it was dark, but she finally saw it was a syringe.

Kai looked to the sky, which made everyone mimic the action, including Margo. The usual white ball of light in the night had began to be overtaken by a blood red. An eighth of the moon had started to change colour, marking the beginning of the lunar eclipse.

"The start of the blood moon. Bloody brilliant." Enzo stated before jamming the syringe right into Raidens gums. Raiden tensed in distress, while the vampires on either side of him gripped onto him with their full strength. The werewolf in human form roared and growled as if he had turned, which frightened Margo.

A translucent yellowish liquid filled the syringe before Enzo pulled it out of Raiden's mouth. Raiden began to calm down again and the two girls released him.

"Good dog."

Enzo handed Bonnie the syringe filled with werewolf venom. She examined it before squeezing every last drop into the basin that contained Kai and Margo's blood. She chanted some words and the mixed liquid started sizzling. It crackled and popped before it began moving.

The mixed liquid of blood and venom hovered out of the basin and started forming a sphere. The translucent werewolf venom surrounded the blood making a small ball.

Bonnie simply held the floating sphere, which had now hardened and resembled a marble. More accurately, it looked like the blood moon.

"When you need to get back, put this in the middle of the ascendant. Spill some of Damon's blood on this too." she explained and gave the blood marble to Margo. She placed it safe in her pocket.

The eclipse had furthered halfway, making the moon half white and half red. Kai called on the witches to surround him, as they had practiced earlier.

Bonnie and the Jackmen started to chant in sync. The fire grew larger while Kai shut his eyes. He began to grin while fidgeting his fingers. They glowed in a red shade, which was the magic entering his body. The three witches looked uneasy and in pain. Finally, they broke down and fell to the ground.

"Bonnie!" Margo yelled and charged to her friend who was unconscious. From her peripheral vision, she saw Kai observing his palms in satisfaction.

"Guess who's got magic."

Margo was dragged from the ground and back in front of Kai at the pull of his arm.

"I do."
