Prologue-Announcement

She's not the one.

Nobodies POV

The news of the death of Sirius Black hit Damon harder then he expected. He actually grew to care for his cousin. But Damon didn't cry, he tore his room apart completely. He lost someone he cared about and Damon snapped.

Lucius was thankfully sent to Azkaban for his part in Sirius's death. But Damon knows that despite this, he would still be forced to marry Akasha.

Voldemort thought the wedding would bring the Death Eaters "Hope." As he said. He also believes that the alliance would lure in more followers.

Damon knew he couldn't escape this wedding even if he wanted to. But it relieved him to hear that the wedding was pushed back a week.

....

Later that day.

Damon was reading a newspaper on the Weasley twins. Their shop was the latest talk after what had happened.

It was opening at the end of the summer. Damon couldn't be more happier for the two. They deserve all the happiness they can get.

But when Damon sent them the money he owed them, they only sent it back. Damon understood why but it made him feel even worse.

"Enough with that bloody rubbish." Bellatrix sneers, ripping the paper out of Damon's grip.

Damon sighs and he crosses his arms.

Bellatrix Lestrange, the one to murder his cousin. Damon bit his tongue when he saw her, no matter how much he wanted to kill her. And despite how much Damon hated it, she grew a liking to him, she took him under her wing.

Damon couldn't help but wish Sirius drank his blood at some point. He wouldn't wish vampirism on anyone but at least Sirius would've been here.

Damon really needed to talk to Remus.

Bellatrix snaps her fingers infront of his face, making him flinch and look up.

"Now get dressed, your going to be taking pictures with your bride and son." Bellatrix says

His son, who he has yet to meet.

....

"Stare into the camera." Rita says

Damon had a hand on Akashas waist, and another on Adios shoulder. Draco stood at his brothers side, with his mother on his. They looked like the perfect family. Only missing Lucius.

....

When Draco heard about Damon's engagement, he was enraged and was hurt that his brother kept it a secret from him, but that quickly changed when he first met Voldemort.

Draco was terrified for the first week and camped out in his brothers room. Not that Damon minded.

....

Damon stares at Adio, who stares back with wide eyes. "You don't look like me." Adio says

Damon clears his throat. "You take after your mother. She's very beautiful." Damon says

Adio plays with his fingers. Damon felt awkward, sitting across from him.

....

Later.

Stefan was enchanted to appear on Damon's fireplace. Damon and him were talking.

"Your getting married soon." Stefan says "I know....I want to feel happy, but I don't love her." Damon says

"Do you want me to bust you out of there, because I will." Stefan says

Damon shakes his head. "Don't do that, I don't want to get you killed. Just do what muggles do, pray to some god." Damon jokes weakly.

Stefan let's out a weak laugh.

....

Damon stares at his Image on the newspaper. He felt like crap, he needed to throw up.

He wasn't ready for this. He didn't want to marry this woman. His singular thought was the twins.

He actually believed that they were his soul mate.

Damon sighs and he closes his eyes.

....

"Hello Damon." Elijah says

Damons head snaps up from from his desk. His eyes widen. "Elijah." Damon breaths

Elijah chuckles and he silently walks over, straightening up his suit. "You look well." Elijah says

Damon snorts. "I know I look like shit, no need to sugar coat it. You on the other look hot as ever." Damon says

Elijah chuckles. "When are you going to get it in your head Damon, I'm to old for you." Elijah says "I've had older, and Lijah, we only have a three year age difference." Damon says

"Your getting married." Elijah says

Damon shrugs. "She has no problem cheating. I really don't care." Damon says

Elijah sighs and he leans against Damon's desk. "I know it's tough but you'll grow to love her. Just try to be a faithful husband." Elijah says

"I've tried, 4 years ago." Damon says

"You know I remember when you were just a scrawny kid, you were running around with Klaus and Stefan, spewing these vulgar words. And Kol wanted to join in on the fun but he was a year younger and mother didn't want him hanging around you guys because of the vile things you would say." Elijah says amused.

"Okay we just learned about what girls had at the time and we thought it was cool to talk about it." Damon says with a laugh.

Elijah chuckles shaking his head. "You were a good kid, not innocent by any means, but you have a big heart." Elijah says

Damon smiles. "Thanks for cheering me up, you didn't have to." Damon says "I always hated seeing you so down." Elijah says

"You know what else would help...sex." Damon jokes "I wish I could but I don't do married men." Elijah says

"Ohh well your in luck, I'm not married, just engaged." Damon says

Elijah chuckles, rolling his eyes.

"You know, I've never pegged you for a marriage type of guy." Elijah says "I guess you were wrong...well I didn't exactly have a choice." Damon says

"If you weren't being forced....would you get married." Elijah ask

"Not to Akasha, that's for sure...but if it were up to me, maybe." Damon whispers

His mind trails off to the twins. Would he want to marry them.
