The Pierce Manor.
"So this is it." Alaric ask
Everyone was standing around the dinning table, looking at the aged paper.
"This is it." Stefan says, arms crossed.
....
"So are we going to take this path, because it looks easier and less stressing." Kai inputs
The group chuckles. Alaric shakes his head. "No that path, this one." Alaric says, circling the longest.
Everyone looks at him like he's crazy. Alaric chuckles. "The path he choose is more crowed by trees and it's easier to get lost, this one is a straight route, with less trees, the two paths might as well take the same time." Alaric says
"Fine we're taking the longer path." Caroline says
"Are you sure you want to go Care, there isn't Starbucks on the island." Klaus jokes, making Caroline hit his arm.
"Asshole, of course I'm going." Caroline says
"Okay then, let's start packing and pack warm, just because we're all vampires doesn't mean we don't get cold. I'm talking to you Damon." Stefan warns, making Damon laugh.
"And tell your families your going to be gone long, we don't need a panic." Alaric says
"Damn." Damon says

Malfoy Manor.
"How long will you be gone." Voldemort ask, coldly, not liking that his pet was leaving for awhile.
"Maybe a few weeks, I don't think we'll be gone long." Damon says, tightly.
"What are you looking for, exactly." Voldemort ask "I don't know yet, it's said that it will help my ally gain more power and since your my ally and master, I believe it will help us." Damon says, he had to lie, he couldn't tell Voldemort that he might get a cure for vampirism. If Voldemort knew, he would kill him.
Voldemort looks intrigued. "We'll do tell me if you find what your looking for." Voldemort says
Damon nods.
....
"Damon so be safe, you have no idea what you might be stepping into." Akasha says, holding her son close, staring up at Damon in worry.
"Don't worry Akasha, I have people watching my back, I'll be okay, now don't do anything stupid while I'm gone." Damon says
"Don't worry, I have Adios watching over me." Akasha says

Draco's room.
Damon softly knocks on Draco's bedroom door. "Come in." Came a silent reply
Damon walks into Draco's room. "Wow, your alive." Draco says "what." Damon ask, with a small laugh. "Well I haven't seen you in such a long time. I actually was starting to think you died or something." Draco says
"Sorry kid, I'll try to visit more, but there's a few things I need to do, I don't know how long I'll be gone but I just wanted to check on you." Damon says
Draco gives his brother a small smile. "Wow you ass, I didn't see you for a few weeks and now you came to say goodbye." Draco ask with a laugh.
Damon chuckles. "I know but this war is really kicking my ass." Damon says
"I guess when I become a death eater it's going to kick my ass." Draco says "wait who said your becoming a death eater." Damon ask, getting angry.
"Well I'm a Malfoy and it's pretty much a given." Draco says "Draco, you don't have to force yourself to do this, I'll get you out." Damon says
"I'm not leaving Damon, I can't leave mom." Draco says "your a good kid, she doesn't deserve it." Damon says
"What do you mean." Draco ask "she's never fought for us, she may say she love us but she could've gotten us out." Damon says
"Maybe she didn't, but she's still our mum." Draco says
Damon sighs and he nods.

The twins apartment.
Damon can spot two silhouettes from where he stands outside. He had a soft smile on his face.
He already said his goodbyes a few days ago, but he wants to see them again.
....
"Hey what are you doing here, I didn't think you'll be back for a while." Fred ask, pulling Damon into the apartment.
Damon smiles. "Yeah well, I missed you guys, just wanted to see you. And I have a night." Damon says
"Where are you going." George ask, walking towards Damon, taking his leather jacket off, kissing the base of his neck.
"We're going to Canada, the Pierce family are sick and it's the only place who holds the cure." Damon says
"Damon, we're supposed to have a week together." Fred says "I know Freddie, but they need this and this cure can save hundreds of lives." Damon says
"Let us come with you then." George ask "you have the shops George, I can't ask you to leave and no, your not coming, I'll be gone just a few weeks." Damon says
The twins sigh. "Fine but don't come back bleeding like last time." Fred says "I don't know, I liked the outcome of last time." Damon teases, making Fred roll his eyes with a smile.
"You did say you have the night, why don't we make the best of it." George says, lips pressed against his ear.
