Chapter 9

I close my eyes in fear when a deep voice cuts through the cold air.

"Yah!"

We both turn to see Taehyung coming towards us.

He grabs the waiter by the collar & slams him against the wall.

"How dare you try to hurt her?"

I gasp when he punches the guy.

Before I know it Tae's on top of the him, punching him continuously on the ground.

"Taehyung! Stop!"

I go to him & put a hand on his shoulder.

He stops at my touch & looks at the bleeding man in front of him.

"Don't ever do this again" he says before getting off the guy.

The waiter spits out blood, turning to look at Tae.

"Let's go" Tae grabs my hand & we go out of the alley, onto the street.

He pulls me around the corner, onto a step that leads into a shop. Of course the shop is closed & has the lights off since it's night time.

"Are you okay??" he turns to me & cups my face with both hands.

"I- I'm fine."

"Did he hurt you?"

"Not really."

I wince as his fingers go over my neck where the waiter grabbed me.

He sighs, knowing that I'm hurt.

"I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have left you alone."

I get surprised when he wraps his arms around me, pulling me into a hug.

He leans down to rest his head on my shoulder.

"I'm so sorry" I hear him whisper beside my ear.

"It's okay..."

I stay silent as he holds me, appreciating this feeling of protection.

HONK HONK

We are interrupted by a loud noise & turn to see that the rest of the boys are waiting for us in the van.

He quickly lets go of me & takes my hand again to rush into the van.

Pulling me to the back, he sits down next to me with me on the window side.

"What took you so long?!" Jin shouts from the driver's seat.

"It's a long story" Tae says nonchalantly.

"A long story? Well luckily we have time. Get driving Jin!" Namjoon is angry too.

Jin starts driving & everyone turns around to look at us.

"I'll tell you later" Tae says.

"Tell us now" Hoseok puts a hand on the top of his seat to look at us more easily.

"I said, I'll tell you later" Tae says in a serious & deep voice, slightly scaring me.

Jungkook & Jimin share a confused look before everyone turns back around to face the front.

Everything is calm, & I start remembering what happened.

The fear & uncertainty I felt, not knowing what that creep would do to me. Regret that I let Taehyung leave me & that I went outside alone with that guy.

I then feel an arm around my waist, pulling me to the side.

I see Taehyung gently pulling me towards him & I let him.

He takes my hand in his & gives me a small smile which I return.

Suddenly, the van takes a sharp turn, causing me to fall to the side.

I bump into Taehyung & when I try to sit back up he gently holds me down.

I rest my head on his chest, in need of comfort.

Holding me, a tear escapes my eye as he rubs my arm, soothing me.

We soon arrive at my complex & Jin pulls up outside it.

"Danseok? We're at your apartment" I hear a soft voice say.

I open my eyes & sit up, seeing Tae.

"I'll walk you inside."

I nod, putting my bag onto my shoulder & going out with him.

"Like we're letting you two go somewhere alone after you did who-knows-what before" Namjoon & Hoseok get out with us.

I take out a card from my bag & swipe it at the gate, letting us in.

We go to my block & I knock on the door.

Ji An pops her head out to see me.

"Danseok! I was waiting for you. Why were you out so late without telling me?"

She opens the door fully to give me a hug, being the caring friend she is.

"Something happened. She'll tell you later or tomorrow" Taehyung speaks.

Ji An sees them & gasps.

"Who are you?" she can't see them since the street lights don't provide enough light.

"The idol group she's working with" Namjoon answers.

"Please take care of her. We'll be going now" Tae says before they leave.

"Danni? What happened?" she turns to me.

I don't reply & she takes me inside, locking up after us.

I put my bag down & sit on the couch, starting to cry.

"Huh? Why are you crying? What happened??" she sits next to me & puts a hand on my back.

I can't answer as I'm crying too much so she pulls me closer & I cry into her shoulder.

"J- Ji An."

"It's okay Danni. You're safe now" she can't figure out what happened.

Rubbing my back, she thinks of the people who dropped me off.

"Wait. They said that they're the idol group you're working with. You're managing BTS. That means... I JUST SPOKE TO BTS!"

She lets go of me, making me fall onto the couch face first.

"OMG I JUST SPOKE TO BTS! HOW DID I NOT RECOGNIZE THEM? I KNEW THAT WAS TAEHYUNG'S VOICE! AAAAAAH!"

"Ji An!" I sit up.

"Oh right. Sorry" she sits back down, holding me.

After a bit she speaks again.

"Let's go wash up & change into pajamas. Then we can sleep & you can tell me what happened tomorrow. Okay?"

"Okay."

Talk about drama. Sorry there's so much happening in each chapter. I don't want my book to be boring.
