Chapter 14: Into You

Tiana stared at the figure at the door. After such a long time or you could call it a short amount of time, they show up.

Tiana: Why are you here?

Hakeem: Who's this?

Jason: How have you've been Tiana?

Tiana: (sighs) I'm fine.

Jason: Can I come in?

Tiana moved her hand signaling for Jason to walk in. She closed the door letting out a deep breath before turning around. Tiana looked at the two man that were standing in front of her.

Tiana: So.......

Jason: So........

Hakeem: So..... is anybody going explain which this person is?

Jason: My bad. I'm Jason, Tiana's ex.

Hakeem: Oh you're Jason.

Jason: Yeah I Jason. (Looks at Tiana) I guess Tiana must have told you about us?

Hakeem: Yeah she did. I'm Hakeem.

Jason: (looks at Hakeem) Ava's dad.

Hakeem: Yeah and Tiana's boyfriend.

Tiana: Now that we've got the weird introductions out of the way, back to my first question. Jason why are you here?

Jason: (looks into the living room) Was I interrupting something?

Tiana: Kinda of but its fine. (Hands on hips) So what's up?

Jason: I'm here on business and wanted to see you. I thought made we could talk.

Tiana: You're here so talk.

Jason: In private?

Tiana sighs and looks at Hakeem and then back at Jason.

Tiana: (to Jason) Mmm...can you give me a minute and wait outside?

Jason: Alright. (Walks out the door)

Hakeem: (hands in his pocket) So you're gonna go talk to him?

Tiana: I'm sorry Hakeem. I didn't know he would be here. I haven't talked to him in so long. If you don't want me t(gtco)

Hakeem: Naw it's cool. Go see what he has to say.

Tiana: You sure?

Hakeem: Yeah.

Tiana: But what about what you trying ask me?

Hakeem: It can wait for another time.

Tiana: Okay. (Pecks his cheek and walks out)

Hakeem opened the ring box to reveal a key.

Outside of Tiana's House.................

Tiana: Jt would have been nice if you would have called or texted before showing up at my house.

Jason: I didn't think you would have company. Guess I was wrong. So y'all are back together?

Tiana: Yeah we're together.

Jason: You look happy.

Tiana: I am.

Jason: Does Ava know that (gtco)

Tiana: Yes she knows. (Jason nods) Did you come here to ask questions or actually talk to me about something?

Jason: Both. Tiana I never really got closure on our relationship.
