Holly's pov: "I'm headed to meet Maggie at the Grove." I told Mary.

"Okay, have fun." Mary said.

I put Charlie's leash on then walked out of the door.

Mrs. Worth and me greeted each other as I entered the lobby before Charlie and me were on our way.

"Lets make a quick stop at Petco." I said to Charlie.

He barked.

"Hey Heather." I said entering Petco.

"Hello my favorite customers." Heather said smiling.

I smiled back while Charlie barked.

"What are you doing back here so soon anyways?" Heather asked.

"Just needed to grab some doggie bags before we head to the Grove." I replied.

Heather laughed a little. I headed back to where the doggie bags were with Charlie. I was startled while grabbing them by a familiar voice.

"What are the odds of us running into each other here at Petco again?" Daniel said chuckling.

I looked over at him, shocked to see him.

"Are you sure you're not following me?" I asked laughing.

"Positive." He said holding up a bird toy.

"So you have a bird?" I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Nope, its for my friend," he replied, "he has a bird."

"Ah I see." I said nodding my head.

"So why the doggie bags?" He asked looking at the box full of doggie bags I was holding.

"We're off to the Grove so I needed some." I said patting Charlie on the head.

"Can I drive you two there?" He asked.

I bit the inside of my bottom lip debating if I should say yes or no.

"Sure, as long as we aren't intruding." I finally said.

"You both are definitely not intruding at all." He said as a smile appeared on his face.

"Okay." I said smiling back.

Then I walked past him with Charlie to the register. I stopped then turned to him.

"Give me the bird toy." I said with my hand out.

"Why?" He asked.

"I'm paying for it." I replied.

"I'm not gonna let you." He said.

"Well then we won't ride with you to the Grove." I said looking down at Charlie then back up at Daniel.

He sighed then handed me the bird toy giving in.

"Good choice." I said smiling brightly.

Then I made my way with Charlie to the register.

"These two things are all I'm buying, Heather." I said smiling at her.

"Did you get a bird?" She asked as she scanned the bird toy.

"Nope, I'm buying it for him." I said pointing over at Daniel, who awkwardly stood by the exit.

"Isn't he the cute boy from yesterday?" Heather asked lowering her voice so he couldn't hear.

I bit my lower lip then nodded.

"You two would be cute together." She said quietly.

"You're the second person to say that." I said laughing.
