Daniel's pov: I stood there as Holly went inside. After a few moments, I turned around then went to the elevator. As I got into the lobby I stopped and talked to Mrs. Worth.

"Um hello Ma'am." I said.

"Hello, Daniel." Mrs. Worth said.

"How long has Holly been living here?" I asked.

"Almost a year now, I believe." She said.

I nodded my head and hummed.

"She's really a special girl, isn't she?" She asked smiling.

"Yeah, she definitely is." I said.

"And you seem like a nice boy." She said.

"Thanks, ma'am." I said.

"I think you are definitely good enough for her." She commented.

"We're just friends." I said.

"Plus we just met yesterday." I added.

"Soon enough, things will change." She said.

"Listen. Holly, is like a daughter to me so is her sister. I'm practically her LA mom ever since her parents moved back to Canada. I like seeing her happy, and I feel like you can make her truly happy." She continued.

"Just don't hurt her." She added on.

I nodded my head.

"Yes, ma'am. I don't plan on it." I said.

Then we said our goodbyes and I called an Uber then headed back to the boys and my house since they had already gone back.

*back at the house*

"So what happened between you and Petco girl?" Jonah asked smirking.

"Nothing." I said.

"You two didn't kiss?" Jack asked raising an eyebrow.

"Nope." I said.

"Did you guys at least hug?" Corbyn asked.

I shook my head.

"So literally nothing?" Zach asked.

"I mean we had a moment." I said shrugging.

"And what exactly happened in that moment?" Zach asked.

"We almost kissed." I said.

"Why didn't you kiss?!" Corbyn exclaimed.

"She stepped back." I said.

"Ouuu so you were basically friend zoned." Jack said.

I shrugged.

"I guess, but we've only known each other for like a day so I don't wanna move that fast." I said.

"Then why did you almost kiss?" Jonah asked.

"I honestly don't know. I don't even think that I like her like that." I said.

"You do, you just don't wanna admit it." Zach stated.

"Well she doesn't like me back." I said.
