I groggily opened my eyes to see a sleeping Ruby's face and the rising of the sun.
What? How did I get here?
I felt a bandage on my head and sighed.
I could've just sworn I was with mom and Uncle a minute ago...must've passed out afterwards.
As I slowly sat up I suddenly felt a stinging pain hit my whole body.
It was as if I'd been hit by a truck then crushed by its tires.
I instantly laid back down and slowly put my hand over my face.
I really shouldn't have pushed myself that far...I wonder what happened...
I must have fainted from how tired I was. The only reasonable explanation for that.
