Is he serious?

I've told him plenty of times before, that I'm not interested in him like that.

He just doesn't get it, does he?

"Hunter, I'm not so sure that's a good idea, you just broke up with your girlfriend," I say as gently as possible.

"How so?" He frowns.

"I've only been with her for a week," he states.

"That's the point," I say.

"Listen, I'm not going to change my mind," I add and walk away.

I can't believe he just broke up with Ally like that and then asks me to Prom.

I just don't understand

My thoughts, interrupted again, by another bump into yet the same large figure again, but this time, spilling his drink all over me.

"Why do you keep bumping into me?" Lucas snaps.

"It's not on purpose," I snap back.

"And you owe me a new drink," he states.

Is he drunk?

"I'm the one covered in your drink," I narrow my eyes.

"Nice costume by the way," he smirks, scanning my body.

Perv

"It's basically the same as yours," I roll my eyes.

"You can be glad it's black," I snap.

"Yeah and it's leather, makes your figure look more feminine," he smirks.

Is he flirting or just insulting me?

"Let me take you upstairs," he offers.

"Upstairs?" I ask in disbelief, with my eyes wide.

"Woah, not like that," he chuckles.

"To clean up the mess you made," he laughs.

"Okay," I say slowly and follow him up to a guest room with a bathroom.

I walk into the bathroom and shut the door behind me, making sure he can't see me.

I take off my gloves and fake wings, placing them on the counter.

I then grab a navy blue towel and start drying my costume.

Luckily for me it's leather and it didn't seep through and drying off isn't too hard.

After completely drying my costume I grab my gloves and wings and walk out the bathroom.

"You didn't have to wait," I say with my gaze on the floor as I put my wings and gloves back on.

"I wouldn't be the gentleman if I didn't," he smirks.

"You are the furthest thing from a gentleman, your costume fits better with your personality," I say.

"You're also wearing a devil costume," he states walking towards me, which causes me to move backwards.

"What does that say about your personality," he adds when my body hits the wall behind me.

His face now closer to mine and his body only inches away.

My stomach starts to do flips and I'm not sure if I have butterflies or if I'm nauseous.

"Hmm?" He smirks.

A smirk creeps onto my face as I grab the back of his neck and move closer to his ear.

"I guess you'll never know," I whisper and let go of my grip, soon walking away and making sure to sway my hips slightly.

I walk downstairs with a huge smile on my face as I skip to the living room.

Where did that confidence come from?

"Why are you so happy?" I hear Amanda beside me.

"I'm not happy at all," I roll my eyes.

"Why do you stench of beer?" She scrunches her nose in disgust.

"Lucas spilt his drink on me," I state.

"Love is in the air," she sings and shoves me playfully with her hip.

"I'm not in love," I deny.

"You can't deny the feelings you have for him," she shakes her head.

"It's hard though, he and Clare were a thing a while back," I say.

"That's ancient history," Clare laughs.

"You're here?" I gasp.

"Yep," she states.

"We're all about to go and get some Pizza at my place, you coming?" She asks.

"Sure," I say.

"Meet you on the lawn in five," she says and walks away.

I decide to go look for Dom and Xander to say goodbye before leaving.

I spot Xander in the crowd, dancing with Michelle.

"Hey guys," I grin as I near them.

They stop dancing and face me.

"I'm going to leave soon, catch you guys on Monday," I say, hugging them goodbye.

I then go back to the kitchen, saying a quick goodbye to Dominic and then going outside, to wait on the lawn.

When I step on the lawn, I only see a few drunk people along with a couple or two, but no Clare or Amanda.

I decided to wait a bit longer, but still no sign of either of them.

When an hour pass of waiting, I decide to just walk home.

And with my luck, it starts to rain. I only stay a few miles away, but that doesn't make it better.

When I was only a few blocks away now, I see the alley I'm supposed to walk through to get home, it's basically a shortcut.

The rain had gotten worse and I'm getting cold and every step I take, it make a loud splashing noise.

I quickly come to a halt when I hear two voices.

"Why are you drinking alcohol, you have Football to think about!" I hear an unfamiliar male voice shout.

My back was around the corner, against the wall, making sure that they couldn't see me.

"I told you Practice only begins on Monday!" Another voice shouts, this one being more famaliar, but I couldn't make out who's it was.

"That doesn't make it right," the unfamiliar voice states and soon I hear footsteps fading.

I peek around the corner, looking into the alley and now only seeing the clear alleyway.

I decided to assume that the coast is clear.

I walked down the alley, but stepped on something.
