The Little of the Alien Commander

I looked around clutching onto the stuffed animal, I honestly was happy with just having the one stuffed animal and I didn't want to seem greedy. On the other hand, she had said multiple times that she wanted me to get what ever I wanted and wanted to spoil me, which still was extremely weird. I mean she was still a stranger to me yet she wanted to spend money on me and didn't expect anything in return. Well except- I shook my head I didn't want to think about that right now this was supposed to be fun.

"You know what we should probably just get a Scanho-er"

"A what?" I asked interrupting her.

"Oh, basically you just scan what you want, and then the store will keep it in a storage area until your done shopping so you don't have to carry anything." I had to admit that was a really smart idea. I peered down the aisle looking at the different items, though they looked different most of the items were like toys on Earth. 

"Hey, sweetheart would you be interested in a swing?" I nodded my head. I loved swinging! It was kind of crazy how she knew exactly what I wanted and what I liked, but it was also kind of nice to be able to not have to stress of figuring out what I wanted. Instead of picking it up she started walking towards the front counter, oh she was probably getting one of those scan things or whatever they were called. That was fine, what was not fine was how many people or aliens or whatever they were called that were at the counter. I instantly grabbed tighter onto the toy and her.

"Oh, she's adorable!" I heard somebody coo, though I wasn't sure who because I had my head tucked into her shoulder.

"Thank you, I'm sorry she's not much of a people person and is still getting adjusted she's a shy one."

"Of course that makes perfect sense I heard rumors about a commander getting a new little, I just never she would be in my little store, or that she would be this cute! 

"Can we please go, I don't need anything" I said though to my surprise she ignored me and just continued talking to the woman though I couldn't understand a word they were saying. Did she turn her communicator off was that why she was ignoring me? So much for if I got uncomfeterble she would bring me somewhere quiet.

"Please I want to go back, I'm I'm tired," I said tugging on her shirt, all she did was pat my back though. I started to squirm and I could feel the tears building. I wanted to leave! I watched as others started to gather around. I remember her saying I was like some type of trophy in their society, was she showing me off, was that why everyone had started to gather around?

If I started screaming to get her attention it would make her look bad, and I didn't want to risk getting on her bad side. But I needed to leave it was just too much. I started to shake and tears started running down my face and I buried my head into her shoulder clutching on to her and dropping the stuffed animal. No no no! That was the only thing that was keeping me calm. Don't cry don't.

"Your alright sweetheart, look at me, honey." I lifted my head up and we were in a different room when had she moved? It didn't matter it was just me and her now and a huge wave of relief washed over me and then I couldn't help but start to sob. I let my body go limp as she took me out of the carrier and cradled me against her chest and began to rock me.

"I know sweetheart I know it was a lot, I didn't think so many people were gonna come up, I went up to get us a private room so we could shop and you didn't have to see anyone, I had no idea you were getting that upset though, I'm so sorry sweetheart.

"You- you- you just ignored me," I said in between sobs.

"I know sweetheart I'm so sorry, the communicator can only translate one language at a time, when I saw you put your head down I paid for the toy and went over to book a private room, the person in charge didn't speak my language and obviously not yours so I had to switch the translator to her language so she could understand, I had no idea so many people were gonna come up, but that's all over now and you have nothing to worry about." She said reassuring me as she continued to gently rock me.

I couldn't help but keep crying everything had just become a blur, I just wanted to go to sleep. I didn't even stop her when she put a pacifier in my mouth, though I have no idea where she got it from. I couldn't help but suck on it and little by little I started to come down.

"I can tell your really tired sweetheart why don't you take a nap and I'll wake you up when Bellum gets here and you have the bracelet back on and we can take a look at stuff in the catalogs to see what you like how does that sound?"

I nodded, honestly a nap was just what I needed right now. I moved a little to get more comfterble and grabbed on to her shirt with one hand and took the stuffed she was handing me that I had dropped earlier in the other. I continued to suck on my pacifier and I couldn't help but close my eyes as she continued to rock me.  While I wasn't exactly happy with the situation I was in there was no one else I would rather be in it with, and with that, I fell asleep.
