 "Barry, Queen!" A voice calls

Star city, SCPD precinct

"Barry!" The voice calles again, Barry wakes up to see a annoyed looking captain Lance, then he remembered where he was, he was at work and sleeping , two word that don't end well in the same sentence "Sir!" Barry shouted
Lance just groaned " what was it this time Mr Allen... Before you answer may I remind you the last time this happened you said date night... Want to know why that was particularly memorable" "I don't have a girlfriend"  which reminded barry 'i need to get a girlfriend' luckily for Barry Laurel came too his rescue " Barry had a late night... He was helping me cross check facts for a case" Barry looked from her to Lance and just nodded, Lance knew she was lying but let it slide, this time "Allen I need you to head to your big brothers play house there was a robbery there need you to check it out" Lance said "got it" said Barry as he and Laurel walked away

 
When they were far enough away "Barry I thought I told you, no late night patrolling "Laurel said in a very big sister way "how'd you... I wasn't.... I got bored and he said there was nothing big going on so I thought I'd just you know...." Laurel just face palmed "your getting in to deep, if you don't take a break, I'm telling him to bench you " she said "fineeeeeeee" he groaned defeated  "tomorrows that fundraiser thingy at the mansion," laurel said  "I'll go there and won't do any vigilanting " he grumbled  , Laurel stopped looked at him "good, also ...vigilanting" she said laughing Barry gave her a playful glare "you said thingy" he said trying to gain a tad bit of an upper hand "yeah but people say thingy no one says vigilanting" she say laughing  " fine we'll test that theory today" Barry says 

"Sure" she says laughing "now, don't you have a job to get to" she says "right" and he runs out, only to run back in "can you drop me" he asks "sure" she say "I'll drop you on my way to work"

Star city, train station

A young blond haired girl with nerdy glasses and a large over coat gets out of the train covering her head with a Cat co magazine, reaching for her phone as it starts to ring "yes Alex, I've reached safely" the young girl says "stay safe Kara, star city isn't exactly the safest place" the girl on the other end of the phone, now know as Alex, says "I will "Kara says  "don't worry I'm heading to Queen consolidated right now, I'll be back before, you can say Krypton" she says cutting the call getting into a cab

As Barry entered the building he first cased the place, 'one set of foot steps, ok so here's where the perp stole the ... By the looks of it centrifuge now how did he do that all by himself ' barry thought he took a look at the picture of the cop ' this guy must have been really strong, the amount of torque required, this guy must be one of brother bloods weirdos'
As Barry walked towards the group he heard one of the analysts talking " the others  must have come in right after" he said "actually there was only one guy" Barry said bringing their attention to him "nice to see you decided to show up Barr" Oliver said, "right sorry late night..." " And you think one guy got through this "  detective Maggie asked getting back on topic "one very strong man, if  you see the biopsy of the guard you'll see these marks on his neck show that high torque was  put on it, don't presume you know how much energy it takes to break someone neck do you" he said to Oliver with a childish grin on his face "hmm? No " Oliver said 'I'm gonna have a little talk with him later' Oliver thought "we're gonna need your inventory so we can determine what was stolen "the analyst said "actually I think I already know what was stolen" Barry said interrupting "and that would be?" the analyst asked rolling his eye in disbelief

"Here, you can see the three sets of broken bolts where the they just *boof* riped it out of the ground" "what exactly is a centrifuge"  Maggie asked "it separates liquids through centrifugal acceleration, it causes denser substance  To separate along the radical direction"  the blond from earlier, Kara, says walking up "the lighter substance move up to the top" Barry continues, quite awestruck by the cute blond in glasses , and they just stare at each other
