It was a sunny day in in Pearl Harbor where the USS Y/N is currently docked

Admiral: He is lookin good don't you agree Commander?

Commander: Yeah he is and he might be the last of the Ticonderoga class cruisers.

Admiral: Why don't you gather your crew and take him for a spin?

Commander: Are you sure sir? He already completed all the exercises given.

Admiral: I already asked the higher ups they said that he can do one last exercise.

Commander: Aye sir.

Admiral: But there's a catch.

Commander: What is it sir?

Admiral: They said don't scratch it.

Commander: Of course sir.

Admiral: OK, dismissed and good luck.

Commander: Thank you sir.

The Admiral left and he rallied his men.

Commander: Alright lads, Admiral gave us a permission to take him for another spin, and the catch is: don't scratch him.

They laughed shortly.

Crew 1: Don't worry sir we won't scratch him.

Commander: Good to know. Alright prepare to depart in 30 minutes.

The all prepared and went to their respective positions.

30 minutes later

Commander: Alright, all ahead full!

The ship then sailed away from the docks to the open ocean.
On their way to the ocean they saw the dummies.
Crew 1: Requesting permission to fire sir.

Commander: Permission granted!

Crew 1: Alright. HANS! FIRE THE MISSLES ON THOSE DUMMIES!

Hans: Aye cap'n!

Then he fired the Harpoons to the dummy ships with the help of his fellow crewmen.

*Time skip*

After the exercise the head back to the docks.

Commander: Whew! That was one hell of an exercise!

Crew 1: Your right sir. He must've gotten stronger from the previous exercises.

Commander: Yup.

They were 10 miles out from the docks. But just then...

*BOOOOOOOM!*

USS Y/N exploded leaving nothing behind, not even the crew and the Commander, and surprisingly not a single debris from the ship was left its like the ship being gone to thin air.

The Admiral witnessed the entire explosion. He fell to his knees, then tears started to fall down his eyes.

Admiral: Why!? WHY!?

He was being eaten by despair and grief.
Because the death of a friend no, a best friend wasn't painful, in fact it is excruciating, just excruciating.

With all his might he organized a search team to find the ship.

But when the search team arrived, not even the debris from the ship can be seen.

A question started to wonder in their minds:

Where's the ship?
