Communication... is what I lack

Every book that was on the shelves was torn down, all the chairs were flipped over, holes punched through the drywall and dirt all over the floor. You dropped your keys and walked to the kitchen where the cookie jars were also smashed. But not a single window was busted, and the doors were locked.
Who did this??

You wondered and examined the holes. They didn't look like someone had punched through the drywall, I mean why would they? It looked like something had hit through them. You glanced around frantically and saw that nothing was stolen.
"If nothing's been taken... then why is the place ransacked??" You asked yourself aloud.
"They were searching for something incriminating." A voice said from behind you. You turned around and was greeted by demyx who slyly emerged through a portal. His eyes went from yours to the kitchen floor and he screamed.

"THEY WASTED THE COOKIES???? THIS IS A TRAGEDY" he sobbed and dropped to his knees picking up a cookie and hugging it sadly.
You brushed off the surprise of his sudden entrance and crossed your arms.
"You can't just barge in here demyx!! I thought you had work today." You growled as he shoved one of the floor cookies into his mouth and stood wiping debris off his black leather coat.

He swallowed and nodded.
"Oh... oh right!! I uh... I finished it and came to check on you!" he admitted nervously  and scratched the back of his head avoiding your eyes. You rolled them and sighed an annoyed sigh.

"Well then... what did you mean by they were looking for something incriminating...?" You asked and began cleaning up the broken objects sighing at the damaged wall. Demyx pulled up a chair and sat down his blue eyes fixated on every move you made.

"I never said that." He lied and began playing with one of the ties on his coat, now averting his eyes.
"Yes you did" you argued and threw some of the trash away before picking up the books.
"No I didn't."
"You did too demyx."

"Did NOT." Demyx argued and crossed his arms glaring at you with a pouty lip.
"Fine whatever." You finished and began placing the books back on the shelf.
"I'm perfectly fine so you can go back to your cult meeting." You barked and demyx gasped dramatically.
"So harsh! And after I came all this way to make sure you were ok! Shameful." He declared and placed his hand to his forehead in a dramatic manner.

You turned to face him. Books piled up in your arms still. The truth was you just didn't feel like talking to demyx, especially since he won't be telling you anything you wanted to know. He just hugs you then leaves what was up with that?
You thought as the memory played back in your mind.

He stood and walked over to you taking some of the books from your hand, his fingertips gently brushing against your arm as he took them. You shuddered from the feeling and brushed it off.
"I don't need help... I need answers demyx. If you're my friend you'll tell me." You growled as he placed his books messily on the shelf.
"I can't tell you anything."
"So it is a cult. "
He stopped what he was doing and stared directly at you.
"No. I just can't tell you. You wouldn't understand it. Or believe me." He finished his books and began walking to the middle of the room.

"Y/n I don't know why you're being so hostile tonight.." he shared and put his hands in his pockets.
"Me??" You spat and put the books down walking towards him.
"You're the one who hugs me out of nowhere, dissapear with a strange man, tell me you have jobs to do, but come and see me anyway... this past week has been so confusing and irritating demyx." You cried and he turned to face you.

"It's funny you say that y/n instead of understanding me." He opened a portal behind him.
He looked to the ground his eyes looked watery and that's when you realized you were shouting at him this whole time for no reason at all.
"Demyx... im sorry i-" you began but he waved you off.
"See you later y/n. Sorry I made your life confusing..." he then dissapeared without a trace. You tried to run in after him but images of the blue haired man saix flashed in your mind and you stopped dead in your tracks as the portal closed infront of you.

You dropped to your knees as the reality of you being alone now set in.

"What have I done?"
