Explain yourself to me

Your eyes shot open just in time to see the boy with the spiky hair walk in and put a finger over his mouth hinting you should be quiet.

"My name is roxas." He explained while moving closer to you. You huddled further into the corner and nodded.
"Yeah. You're the one who helped demyx lure me here aren't you????" You asked defensively and he gave a confused look.
"I don't know what you mean... And I thought xion was confusing.." he chuckled and held his hand out, which you eyes suspiciously before accepting. He pulled you to your feet and handed you a small bag of chips.

You hungrily accepted them and ripped open the bag.
"I snuck them for you. Xemnasdoesnt want you eating.." he began and walked to the window looking out of it and towards the heart shaped moon.

You stopped eating and looked towards him.
"Why? I don't even know why I'm here..."
You whimpered and crunched down on another chip.

"Well... he seems to think demyx is a traitor and that you're helping him. But I know demyx is just a slacker."

You watched him carefully as he slid his hand through his dirty blonde spike hair and sighed, the heart moon thing reflecting it's light off of his perfect skin. You gulped and shook your head.

"So... xemnas... the boss of this organized cult thing wants me to admit something that isn't true?" You asked and roxas nervously scratched the back of his head.
"No. It's more like they'll torture you untill you do."

"Torture??" You cried out and began placing.
"Hey hey... oh crap... um y/n Look it's not that bad all you have to do is keep telling the tru-" he began before
You tripped falling into his arms, which he hugged you with.
You looked up at him and his face turned red as he let you go.
You heard someome clearing their throat at the door.

You turned around to see demyx there with his arms crossed.
"Roxas what are you doing?" He questioned. Roxas whistled and walked to the door opening a portal.
"Imma go... find xion. Yeah. We gotta prove your innocent some how haha..." he ran through the portal.
You gave a sigh and looked at demyx.

"Roxas was explaining that you're accused of being a traitor-" you began before he dropped to his knees and grabbed your hands. He looked down at your feet.
"Y/N! If I knew that this would have happened I never would have bothered you that day. I just couldn't help myself... You were wasting icecream... And standing alone... it was the perfect opportunity..."

You looked at him confused as he squeezed your hands tighter.
"Perfect opportunity to what..." You begged yourself not to day it and cause another fight but the words escaped your lips.
"To lure me into a kidnapping??" You accused and he tensed for a moment then squeezed harder and sighed.
He looked at you and stood.
"Y/n... when I saw you i... I can't explain this without revealing to much and i.. I can't be turned into a dusk...." he began.
"Dusk...?" You questioned and he hushed you letting go of your hands and walking away dramatically draping his hand over his forehead.

"Tis not fair we come from two separate worlds..." he whined. You crossed your arms and shook your head.
"Spit it out demyx... You owe me an explanation..." You demanded and he cowered a little bit before nodding.
"When I saw you sitting alone eating icecream I felt.... something I hasent before. I can't put my finger on it but the feeling felt familliar... like I had to do something." He explained and you tilted your head curiously as he turned towards you and walked back to you.

"It's hard to explain... But I only feel this way when I'm around you. But it's impossible for me to be able to feel emotions like you can." He whispered.

"How? Youre only human demyx, it's ok to have emotions." You comforted and he looked sadly into your eyes.
"If only i were." He whispered and held out his hand, a white beam of light shone and a sitar, the color of blue, appeared in his hand. He then made it dissapear right before your eyes.
It was the same way saix had done it when he attacked you.

Scared you put your hands up in defense. And his eyes softened and he grabbed your hands pulling you close and hugging you tightly.
You gasped for a moment but gave into the hug, wrapping your arms around his neck.
"I am so sorry I got you in this mess y/n." He cried out.

The hug lasted for what felt like forever before his grip loosened and you found yourself nose to nose with him. Your heart quickened it's pace as he slipped his hand onto your cheek and began to lean in, which you followed.
Your lips were just about to touch when a loud noise interrupted you. He pushed you away just in time to see axel and saix walk in the room.

Axel looked at you questioningly then to demyx.
"Why are the two of you together?" Saix growled at demyx.
Demyx cowered and helped like a puppy.
Axel walked over to you and offered his hand to help you stand.

"Get up... I have some good news. " he softly spoke which gave you a warm feeling as demyx was being chewed out.
"Hey isa." Axel barked and saix looked over with a scary look in his eyes.

"What the he'll axel can't you see in chewing demyx out?"

"I can see. Now tell the prisoner the news or I will be happy to."

Saix gave a sigh before holding up a clip board.
"Theres not enough evidence to prove that there is another traitor among us... xemnas requested we let you go. Under one condition..." he began and stared you in the eyes.
You gulped.
"You are not to tell anyone this happened, if you so happen as to see anyone in a black coat in your pathetic excuse of a world, you will pretend you didn't see them at all. That includes demyx."

Demyx locked eyes with you. And then cleared his throat and looked at saix.
"Will do." He agreed.
You whimpered.
"N-no. Demyx is my friend why can't I see him... why can't I tell anyone where I was??" You asked and axel hushed you.

"Unless you want to die right here I suggest you agree.." axel cautioned and motioned to the annoyed saix.
"Our missions do not include the mortals on that dumb ass world you call home. Either you accept it and go home, or we keep you here and turn you into a dusk." He tapped his clip board with a pen.

You gulped and looked at demyx who was copying saix.
You felt your stomach knot up bit agreed.

Axel took you by the arm and opened a portal infront of you.
"And before you think to yourself that we won't know if you tell... we will. And we can find you easily y/n." Said cautioned as axel took you into the abyss. You caught one last look at demyx, who gave you such a sad look before the wall closed around you and axel.

Leaving you two alone in the darkness walking towards the light.
Without demyx.
