Goodbye

You gave one last look into the endless darkness as axel pushed you forward into the light.
"Don't worry about him...." he muttered staring down at you. You nodded biting your lower lip and hugged yourself.

"This is for the best.. forget about demyx. Well be back to check tabs on you tomorrow." Axel cautioned before disappearing into the portal. You were back where it all started, in the alley where saix knocked you out. You leaned against the wall and gave a sigh wondering how long you were gone in the real world. While you were lost In thought you hardly noticed that you were seen.

"OMG Y/N!! GUYS SHE'S HERE!" olettes tired voice screamed and she ran to hug you.
"Oh my God you look so weak!!" She cried and cupped your face in her hands. You pushed her hands away as hayner and pemce rushed over.
"Y/n!" They shouted at the same time.
You forced a smile as the questions about where you were rolled in.
Remembering saix and his warnings you lied.
"I guess I got lost..." You laughed and they looked at you confused.
"I.. went into the woods where the old mansion was.." You lied and they nodded.
"You know better... you've been gone for days you must be starving!!!" Olette cried and you looked down and nodded.

So it's been days..?
You asked yourself before following your friends to your house thinking about demyx and the boy named roxas.
The entire walk hayner didn't let go of your arm. Almost as if he were afraid you would dissapear again.
You felt your heart breaking, remembering the look on demyxs face as he watched you leave with axel. You wanted anything to go back and see him just once more.
But with saix and the others keeping tabs, it would never be possible. They could be listening right now and you would have no idea.

Your friends left you after making sure you were ok once you got home.
Well... You made them leave. You just wanted to be alone. You didn't understand why you were so upset over not being able to see demyx, or why his almost kiss left you shaken up so bad.

You laid in your bed facing the wall and window with your hand over your heart.

They dont have hearts... You remembered closing your eyes.

Must be nice.

The next morning you awoke feeling worse than you had yesterday. You knew you would have yo go out sooner or later but you didn't want to go outside right now and face the sun.
You wanted to forget everything.
You wrapped yourself upUnder the covers and closed your eyes drifting back into sleep, praying you didn't dream of demyx.

You awoke in the night, and gave a sigh glancing out your window to see saix on the ground staring up at you. Most likely to check up like axel warned.
You locked your windows before laying back down and closing your eyes drifting back into sleep.

You gave a sigh as your eye lids fluttered open the sunlight pouring in through your window. You sat up in bed wondering how long it had been. You heard a soft tap come from your window. You grunted and sat up looking out expecting to see one of the men in the black coats, but instead saw your friends throwing stones.

You waved at them and they waved back. You opened your window and lied with all your might,
"Have fun today. Im.. feeling sick! I can't go out."

Hayner looked up at you with sad eyes but nodded as they walked off.
You sighed in relief before closing your window and wrapping yourself back up in the blanket. You have been asleep for two days...
You reminded yourself and closed your eyes, feeling pain from hunger strike your stomach. You leaned your head back against the wall feeling unmotivated to get up before giving a softer sigh and for the first time since you got back decoded to get up and get food.

After you ate you went back to your room, looking at the bookshelf where demyx helped you stack books, his messy stack still there. Your heart ached when you thought about him. You went back to your bed and laid down closing your eyes again and drifting off to sleep.
Will I ever see you again..?
You asked yourself.

You forgot how long you had actually slept for. You woke up to the sun in your eyes. You sat up placing your hand over your heart. Buy you weren't in your room, you were in a field of bright light. There you shielded your eyes as they adjusted, your eyes focused on the shape of a woman standing in the light, with a strange weapon that looked like a key, in her hand clenching her fist against her chest and crying.

Her black long hair pulled into a pony tail and her black bangs shifting in the slight breeze. You tried to walk towards her but you couldnt move.
She turned towards you, her yellow eyes shining brightly as tears poured from them.

That's when you noticed her black boots were disappearing into white particles of light. She held out her hand towards you and clenched her teeth like she was in pain, the zippers on the straps of her outfit clicked together as she moved, when she did, it revealed a emblem that looked like a heart with an X through it.

You reached for the crying girls hand but couldn't move still as more of her body was disappearing.

As the girl dissapeared you heard a voice say:

"I dont want to go! Im SCARED!"
Then a brief moment of silence before her voice spoke again saying; "it's better to not have a heart."
Your heart began aching as you felt tears of your own begin to pour from your eyes.
"No please!! Don't leave me here!" You cried.

You awoke with a rush as you sat up quickly.
"NO!!" You shouted and reached your hand out as if to grab something. You looked around your room and recognized where you were.

"A... a dream?" You asked yourself and felt a single tear drip down your cheek.
You gasped and wiped it away before looking at your alarm clock which revealed the time and date, it was the after noon 2 days after you last checked it. You've been asleep for four days...

You gave a sigh, your heart still racing from the dream.
You threw your legs over the side of your bed and got dressed.
"Time to get some icecream..." You whispered and headed out the door.

You didn't see your friends at all, even after buying the icecream and going to the station heights and standing against the rail where you normally would waiting for demyx.
You felt your heart ache the more you thought about him, and the strange girl in your dreams.

You took a bite of your icecream and tried remembering what you could see within the light.
"Hey y/n..." a soft voice called from behind you.
It couldn't be.... You thought to yourself as
You turned your head nervously.
Behind you was hayner.

You gave a sigh and nodded towards him.
"Hey..."
He stood next to you as you took another bite of icecream.
"So it's been a few days. We've true d coming to check on you but you haven't answered the door." He leaned his back against the railing.
"I was so worried about you... I thought you would never come home." He admitted and you bit down into the stick.

"Yup..." You sucked the left over juice from the stick as hayner sighed.

"Y/n... do you know why I was worried? And what we're you doing at the mansion anyway?" He asked and you just shrugged not wanting to talk about it any longer.
Hayner stared at you for a moment before biting his bottom lip and pushing himself off of the railing.
"Right... well..." he cleared his throat and began walking away.
"I wanted to tell you you will always have me..." he muttered before disappearing off. You watched the sun duck behind the tall buildings, and the stars pepper the sky one by one. You decided it was time to head home. As you turned around you wsre greeted by a familliar face just standing there.

"Heh... bad timing?"

(Congrats you met my oc Zonna.. she dies in my universe, which is why you see her in your dreams. Possibly gonna make a story with her.)
