The sound of children giggling echoed through the hallways of the castle. A 6 year old Aria Odinsdottir ran through the halls in an attempt to find a suitable hiding spot from her 2 older brothers.
As the pitter pattering of her shoes and the sound of her dress swishing in the wind made its way around the castle, Aria failed to notice a few members of the Einherjar, a group of elite Asgardian warriors, approaching her as she bumped into them
"Oh, I'm terribly sorry" Aria blurted out breathlessly in her faint British accent as she smiled up at the guards
"No worries princess" one said smiling back as they both bowed
"The princes are on their way your highness," the other said as he gestured behind me "I suggest you hurry" he smiled with a wink
"Thank you, have a blessed evening" she said kindly as she turned a corner, taking off once again
"As should you, your highness" she heard as she panted her way to the throne room
"There she is!" she heard Thor yell behind her
"Come on then brother! quit dilly dallying!" Loki said before taking off after her, with Thor hot on his tail
Giggling as she entered the throne room and closed the doors, she ran up to the throne where her father sat with her mother behind him as they discussed with some guards
"Aria dear, what is the meaning of this?" her mother, the Queen of Asgard, Frigga, said as she walked down the steps of the throne and swiftly picked up the young Princess
"My sincere apologies for interrupting, Thor, Loki and I are playing hide and seek" she giggled before looking at her father, the King of Asgard, Odin "Father, would it be alright if I hid behind the throne?" she said as her mother put her down in front of her father
"Of course my dear child" he said as he cupped her face, causing Aria's grin to widen "we will not reveal thy spot, Do not fret." he smiled
"Thank you father" she said as she kneeled and bowed her head quickly before kissing her father and mother on the cheek and scurrying to hide behind the throne
Moments later she heard the throne room doors burst open with sounds of 2 sets of feet running in
"Dearest apologies father-" I heard Loki start before Thor cut him off
"Father, Mother" Thor acknowledged "have you seen dear Aria, her wit and perceptive hiding abilities and speed seems to allow her to evade us rather quickly"
