(Y/N)'s POV
I wait at the area that Kaeya told me to meet him at, it's been 5 minutes and still no sign of him.
'Did I just get stood up? No, Kaeya wouldn't do that! I should just wait a bit more!' I thought
So I waited, and waited, and...waited "sigh I did get stood up..." as I was about to walk back to my class I hear yelling coming from my right
"What the hell-"
I see Diluc bolting at Kaeya who's just right in front of him
Kaeya stopped in front of me and coughed for a bit "Hey (Y/N), about our deal how about let's head to the cafeteria really really fast right now?"
I just agreed because I'm scared of whatever Diluc will do
Kaeya took my hand and we ran as fast as we can
'WHAT?? WHY DID KAEYA TAKE MY HAND, IT'S NOT NECESSARY BUT IT FEELS NICE?'
We stopped and rested at the end of the lunch line
"I can't believe we outran Diluc" I said while panting
"He was carrying a bat so maybe that slowed him down" he chuckled
I looked at him with a surprised expression "He's carrying a BAT?!" Kaeya just laughed as if this is normal which it probably was "I stole one of his books then he got all mad at me and started chasing me with his bat"
'I'm genuinely concerned about these two'
"A-Are you okay?"
"Hm? Are you concerned about me?" he said smugly
I got flustered and covered my face with my hand "I WASN'T!" I yelled
"You're cute when you're all flustered like that" he smiled
"Shut up..." I mumbled looking away
"Now, what food do you wanna get?"
I looked at the food in front of me all either fried or baked
'I can't believe I left my lunch box just to let this fool buy me this kind of food to repay me...'
"Hmm...I'll just go with a cheese pizza"
"Just one? Are you sure you wouldn't be hungry?"
"Are you concerned about me?" I mocked
Kaeya laughed "Alright alright I'll get the pizza, don't blame me if you go hungry during class though"
He went on and bought the both of us a slice of pizza
"I'm not mocking you right now but wouldn't you go hungry with just one slice?"
"I already ate lunch ahead of time, this is just a little snack" he smiled as he bit into the slice
I bit into the pizza and spaced out thinking about random things
Today was more fun than other days
