(Y/N)'s POV
I opened my eyes to see a room with white walls and some food beside me
"Am I in a hospital?" I hear a gasp from the other side of the room "(Y/N)!!!" I hear someone yell
"You're finally awake!" as my vision started clearing up I see Amber about to jump on me and Kaeya sleeping on a chair "How long was I out?" I ask as I tried to sit up "Hey hey- Don't stand up yet your legs are injured, it's just broken bones thankfully. You were out for 2 days" I look over to Kaeya who was peacefully sleeping on a chair
"Did you two not leave?" Amber awkwardly laughed "Well, we did go home for a change of clothes and a bath, we just bought food from the convenience store..."
"You two ate convenience store food for 2 days?!" I yelled "Calm down, our family brought us some food too"
"Still you should've just visited, we have nurses for a reason. Hold on don't you have class?"
"We were excused from school because apparently this hospital's understaffed at the moment so it's technically helping and that's the job of the Adventurer's Guild and the Knights!" I laughed, they really tried to find a reason to stay here.
"Do you want some food? I have some sticky honey roast that my family sent here" Amber handed me a plate of the roast "Shouldn't we wake up Kaeya so he can eat too?" Amber just realized this and woke Kaeya up
"Well good morning to you, (Y/N), you really had us worried there" he laughed.
For the rest of the day we just watched shows at the small TV in the room, it was mostly re-runs of old 90s to early 2000s shows though.
"I'll get us some snacks from the convenience store downstairs, I'll be right back" Amber stood up and left leaving me and Kaeya alone
"Hey Kaeya, I heard someone say something while I was being escorted to the ambulance" this looked like it piqued his interest "Hm? What did they say?"
"That's the thing, I have no idea, they got cut off because the doors closed" I said sadly, Kaeya suddenly tensed up "Is something wrong?"
"I think that was me..." he nervously laughed "Really? What did you want to say" he had a light blush around his face, Kaeya cleared his throat "I wanted to say that..." he paused "That what?"
"I like you..."
I pause for a moment trying to comprehend the situation, after a few seconds I finally got it and blushed like a tomato, I tried to get my answer out but I was a stuttering mess. I got annoyed at my brain so I got the notepad and pen on the nightstand and wrote my answer there
"I LIKE YOU TOO!! VERY MUCH
(● ˃̶͈̀ロ˂̶͈́)੭ꠥ⁾⁾"
Kaeya laughed "Well I'm happy you feel the same way, so what do you say? Relationship or nah?" I thought for a bit "Relationship!" I smiled it looked like that it took Kaeya by surprise
"I'm back!" Amber yelled as she walked back in, Kaeya gave her a thumbs up and Amber ran up and hugged me
"Hold on, Amber was a wing woman??" Amber awkwardly laughed and agreed.
(Huge timeskip)
I was discharged from the hospital a week later, my legs weren't completely healed so I had to use crutches to walk around school.
For archon's sake the amount of requirements I have to submit for being absent for a week, I'm literally on crutches can I please have some mercy?
I sighed as I did my missed homeworks in the library
"Oh! Welcome back to school, (Y/N)" I look up and see Lisa "Lisa? I didn't know you were the librarian here, should I call you Ms. Lisa now?" she giggled "No need, it's not exactly a very formal environment right now so we can be casual with each other".
Thankfully Lisa helped me with some of my homework that I couldn't understand.
(After school)
"(Y/N)!" Kaeya called "I don't have any duties in my club right now, so wanna walk home together?"
We're already a couple, why am I still getting so flustered?!
"Well Amber has some extra duties today, so why not?"
The walk to my house was a very wholesome one, we just chatted about random topics. Kaeya flirted a lot but let's not talk about that.
"Well I'll be heading in now, bye" I waved "Hold on I wanna get something first"
"Hm? What do you need to get?"
He held both of my hands in his
"Your first kiss" he whispered
He pushed his soft lips onto mine, my face was as red as a tomato and I was close to screaming but I eventually settled down. We separated for a breath of air and I was still red
"Well since I have successfully stolen your first kiss, I'll be going now. Goodnight, (Y/N)" he winked which caused me to blush even more
"G-Goodnight!" I yelled.
I walked in and closed the door, I put down my bag and collapsed on the couch
"I wanted him to be my first kiss but I didn't know it would be that abrupt!" I screamed into a pillow "Well I'm not complaining..."
Since I couldn't make dinner properly until my legs healed I had to order food instead.
"Today was a good day" I mumbled as I ate a spoon of mashed potatoes while watching a movie.

Y'all don't know how long I had to prepare myself for that kiss part, I had to look away while typing because writing kiss scenes make me feel so weird sjfjejfjd- anyways, next chapter might be the last!
After writing this I'm thinking of making a Genshin Impact characters x Reader one shots, no angst only fluff or slight spice because angst makes me sad-
Ofc I won't make the one shots immediately after finishing this book because my brain needs to rest but I hope y'all stay for that book (*'▽'*)
