(Y/N)'s POV
"(Y/N)! What's wrong? are you sick?" Amber said with a very concerned tone

I got my phone and saw that I was pretty red, the sickly looking type not the blushing type

"Do you want me to take you to the nurse?"

"No it's fine..." I smiled "I'll just take some medicine when I get home"

I seriously wish I agreed with Amber there

I walked in my last class almost looking like I'm limping, my face red as hell

I basically collapsed on my desk and passed out until I heard the teacher come in the classroom

"Good afternoon students, today we'll be doing a group activity!"

'A group activity while having a fever, how nice'

Thankfully I wasn't put in the same group as Kaeya but something bad happened still.

I fainted

As the teacher explained the guidelines of today's activity I felt dizzy, as I stood beside my classmates I started tipping over until eventually fell and passed out.

(At the clinic)

I wake up in a...hospital bed? No, it's just the regular infirmary bed

"(Y/N)!!!" Amber yells and drops on the side of my bed "I was so worried! I heard during my homeroom class that a student fainted and I just KNEW that it was you!" she had an expression like she was crying but there was no tears

"Oh! I need to call Kaeya!" Amber said as she pulled out her phone

"Why do you need to call Kaeya?" I asked in a tired voice

"He asked me to call you when you woke up, he couldn't stay here because he had to buy things for a project in one of his classes"

"Hello?"
"Kaeya! (Y/N) woke up already!"
"Really? May I speak to her?"
"Of course, here"

Amber handed me her phone

"Hello?"
"(Y/N), you really scared me back in class" he laughed
"Oh- I'm sorry"
"Why are you apologizing? It's not your fault that you fainted"
"Why did you ask Amber to call you when I woke up?"
"I was worried about you of course"

I was taken aback for a moment

"You were...worried about me? Why?"
"You're my friend, it's natural I'd be worried if a friend just fainted randomly. Why? You thought I just thought of you as an acquaintance despite us knowing each other for so long?"

'Is he reading my thoughts or something?'

"I- No, of course! It's just because we don't speak much..."
"Then I'll speak to you more often! Oh, my taxi's here, I'll see you tomorrow (Y/N)"
"See you tomorrow"

I hung up

I gave back Amber phone only to see her with a smirking face

"So what's this thing going on between you and Kaeya?" she asked mischievously

"It's nothing! We're just friends" I looked away blushing

"Alright whatever you say~" she teased

"Do you wanna take the bus with me home?"
"Really? Sure"

I ended up having to be absent the next day because my fever came back

I opened my phone when I woke up at 1pm and saw
10 missed calls from Amber
And 1 email from my teacher asking why I was absent

Looks like I have a lot of things I missed in just 1 day
