Chapter 39 - Dinner Date

Eva's Pov :

"Ayun ba si Liver Aiza?" Tanong ko habang nasa loob kami ng elevator."

"Yes Ma'am Eva. Oliver po."

"Whatever. Anong ginagawa niya dito?" Tanong ko.

"He wanted to visit you."

Napailing na lang ako at hinintay na bumukas ang elevator. Ng pumasok ako sa loob ng office ay nakita ko siyang naka upo sa sofa at may hawak na bouquet.

I raised a brow as he approach me. He took my hand and kissed it. I was surprised but I grabbed it immediately without hesitations. What the hell is he doing?

"What are you doing here?"

"I came to visit. Grabe pala tong company mo...and this office, Ang laki!" He chuckled. "Here, Bouquet of roses for a gorgeous woman like you." Abot niya sa akin at kinuha ko naman yun at naglakad ako papunta sa desk ko para ilagay dun.

"Seriously, Why are you here?" Tingin ko ulit sa kanya.

"I just want to see you! That's all!" He shrugged his shoulders.

"You're a mayor, You should be busy managing the entire Taguig city."

"Well...I cleared my schedules for today." He said with a playful tone.

"Kung nandito ka lang para makita ako, Masasabi kong nag sasayang ka lang ng oras dahil hindi kita matutuunan ng pansin. I'm a busy person Mr.Mallueve."

"I prefer when you call me Liver. Sounds funny and cute when it comes from you."

What the hell is cute with that?

Napakunot ang noo ko at inirapan siya. I continued my works and his not even bothered! Umupo pa siya sa upuan katapat ng desk ko at tsaka ipinatong ang mukha sa kamay niyang nakapatong sa desk ko. He's even smiling while I'm doing my work!

"You know staring is really rude....and I find it irritating." I twiched my eye.

"Are you bothered by my attention Ms.Carson?" He smirked.

"I'm bothered by your presence."

"My handsome presence?"

"What?" Taas kilay ko sa kanya.

He just smiled at me and I deadpanned. Nasa ganyang posisyon siy ng ilang saglit at naisipan din niyang magsalita.

"Don't you get bored of you Job?" Tanong niya. "I mean, Nakaganyan ka lang mag damag?"

"Not really, May mga meetings din na pinupuntahan. But other than that yes, I find it boring sometimes." Sabi ko pero nakatugon pa din ang tingin ko sa mga papel na binabasa ko.

"You're so beautiful Ms.Carson...Now I know why you rarely attend events and gatherings."

"I stalked and searched about you. Puro tungkol sa kumpanya mo ang lumalabas at sobrang dalang pag dating sayo. You're personality is completely hidden huh? Maski pictures mo halos wala na akong makita. But now you're here in front of me...Wooahh..." He said with an amazed tone. "You're so beautiful, I'm so stunned! Ikaw na ata ang pinaka magandang babae na nakilala ko!"
