my concept of mates is a bit different. I found it more interesting to not have mates that are able to find each other with sents but with a deeper connection. There will be more explanations during the story.
I also dont have ranks. Every werewolf has an aura or power. How stronger that power is (I call it "Alpha power") how more dangerous the werewolf can be. That power can be used to compel other wolves. To lead them actually.
