Jada POV It had been 2 months since Jay has been shot. I was now 3 months pregnant. Jay still was in a coma I wanted him to wake up so bad but I knew it would take time. I had so much stress going in on me I'm surprised I'm still pregnant. God was watching over me. I was sitting in the room looking at Jay. He was healing but healing slow, but still he was healing. His mom has been in here with me every since. I'm here everyday. I leave go get clothes and food and I'm back here. I'm not leaving Jays side.
"You think he'll ever wake up?" I asked Mrs Williams "I pray everyday that he does but only god to tell us that" Mrs Williams said
My eyes got teary again. I miss Jay so much like nobody understands how in love I am with this boy. Even though he put his hands on me I still love him. I know it sounds toxic as hell but nobody would understand but me and him. The nurse came in and checked and made sure Jay was good.
"Has anything changed nurse?" Mrs Williams asked "Right now everything still looks the same" The nurse said "Okay thank you " Mrs Williams said sighing "You need to eat Jada" Mrs Williams said "I'm not hungry right now" I said "You haven't ate since this morning, you need to eat something" "Fine. Call me if anything changes or anything happens" I said "You know I will" Mrs Williams said
I looked at Jay one last time and walked towards the door and walked out. I walked towards the elevators and stepped in. I was on the 3rd floor which was the ICU floor. I pushed first floor which was the main lobby. I waited about 2 mins and the elevator stopped on the 1st floor. I got out and walked towards the cafeteria. There was Subway and Chick-fil-A. I had Subway yesterday so today I was going to Chick-fil-A. I walked towards the line and waited. I was behind this tall a dark skin man I was on my phone strolling when he turned around to ask the lady if they had fresh fries in the back.

I was on the phone not paying attention when he bumped my shoulder.
"My fault" He said "You good" I said still looking at my phone
We continued through the line. I grabbed my nuggets and fries and then I grabbed a cup to get a drink. While I was getting a drink he came up to me again.
"You pregnant?" He asked "Um yes" I said "Congratulations " He said "Thank you" I said grabbing sauce
I paid for my food and then walked towards the door when the he came up to me again.
"Hey can I talk to you?" He asked "Look I have a boyfriend and he's in a coma so if you're trying to flirt with me, I don't accept. " I said "Nah it's not even like that" He said "Then what is it? " I asked sitting my phone down "I can't talk to you or anything? " He asked "Sure" I said "Can I have a name first?" He asked "Jada" I said "And yours?" I asked "Jamir " Jamir said "You got a nice name. You want to eat with me I ain't got nobody to eat with. Just as friends because I know you got a boyfriend and I ain't trying to come between y'all. You look like you been through a lot, you stressing so I was thinking we could eat together " Jamir said "No. I'm sorry I'm not being rude or anything it's just my boyfriend is in a bad state right now and I honestly just can't be with anybody right now" I said "Can I get your number then? " Jamir asked "I don't even know you" I said "But I want to get to know you as a friend" Jamir said
I thought about what he said. I mean I have been through a lot. And I do feel alone without Jay. I'm not saying i want to cheat but having a friend is okay honestly. And when Jay wakes up I will tell him. I mean it shouldn't matter we would just be friends right?
"Fine." I said giving in "I promise I ain't gone try to put a move on you or nothing" Jamir said "Even if you did I would decline it " I said "Damn just like that? " Jamir said "Yeah take it or leave it" I said "Ima take it. Type your number in " Jamir said
I typed my number in his phone and picked my food up.
"I'll see you later. I have to get back to my mother in law and boyfriend" I said "Alright. I'll text you later" Jamir said
I walked away and walked out of the cafeteria. I walked towards the elevator and got in. I pushed 3 floor and waited two mins for it to reach the 3rd floor. It finally arrived at the 3rd floor and I got out and headed towards the room. When I got in the room I seen something that I almost dropped my stuff. I froze.
"Hey baby" Jay said "How? When? I told you to call me" I said to Mrs Williams "Jay wanted to surprise you" Mrs Williams said smiling "Did y'all call the nurse to make sure everything is okay?" I asked putting my things down and walking towards Jay "I'm good baby I'm good. I'm still alive so I'm good" Jay said "Baby I missed you." I said in tears "I missed you too baby" Jay said hugging me "I called everybody and everybody said they were on their way" Mrs Williams said smiling "How long was i out?" Jay asked "2 months" I said "Damn. What I missed?" Jay said "Well I'm 3 months pregnant now. I don't know if you can see my bump right now but you can feel it" I said lifting my shirt up
Jay felt my little tiny bump and smiled.
"Definitely a boy" Jay said smiling "How would you know?" I said laughing "Because I know. My mama had all boys" Jay said "Baby eat. I know your food cold. I'm here and I'm here for good now" Jay said
I grabbed my food and sat in the chair beside Jay. I was so happy he was up and doing well. He was on his phone Mrs Williams gave him and he was doing great. And I was so grateful for that. I was eating when I thought about Jamir.
