One backflip and she landed right in front of the camera with a smirk. Just another day in the life of a stunt woman.

She accepted a fruit drink graciously and walked away to collect her pay cheque.

The man at the helm, the director, took out a balance and weighed out one gold brick for her as her salary.

They all praised her for being a great woman in the field. For her efforts and tireless attitude. She received bouquets and laurels. She even got an interview.
She smiled.

Maybe this is the feminism, the equality she was looking for.

Maybe this is what the modern society should learn from and become.

It was then that she saw the director had weighed out two gold bars for the stuntman, who had doubled in for the hero. No fuss, no flowers, he silently walked away with his earnings.

She smiled even more. Yet bitterly now.

After all the unfairness of wage gap is just the bitter truth.

After all why would a woman expect equal salary after all the accolades and praises she received?
