14 year old Gloria Rey Tate has never put much thought in what she wanted to do with her life, having found herself quite content to live the rest of her days in Postwick and helping her mother around shop, enjoying the simple ways of life.

However, when a visit from the 2 decade undefeated champion ( and her best mate's older brother) comes bearing gifts, the young lass unexpectedly finds herself not only a pokemon trainer but on a journey to travel around the Galar region, defeat the eight gym leaders and perhaps, find the truth of the mysterious pokemon out in the woods?
