02- The Starters

Gloria and Hop stared in stunned silence as they observed the three little Pokémon that had just appeared.

The first of the three, on the far left, was a chimp like Pokémon. It had a leafy green body, brown tail and ears, and orange limbs and snout. It has two large eyes with a beige-colored mask surrounding them. It has two leaf-shaped hair tufts held by a stick on the top of its head. A playful, easygoing aura surrounded this Pokémon.

The second, in the center, was a rabbit like Pokémon. It had an alabaster white body with fiery orange and yellow markings on its ears, toes, and neck. It had buckteeth, an orange nose and irises, as well as a yellow band shape across its nose, resembling a bandage. It had long legs with long feet and the same yellow band on its nose under each paw pad. An aloof, somewhat stubborn aura about this Pokémon.

The last of three, on the far right, was a chameleon like Pokémon. It had a azure blue body with darker teal patches and an even lighter blue belly and face. It had similar teal eyes with white pupils and sclerae. It had a yellow fin on top of its head bordered in dark blue, as well as a curled blue tail tipped in the same dark blue. It had thin limbs, each ending in two thin appendages that act like fingers. An anxious, timid aura was felt by this Pokémon.

These three tiny Pokémon were known as rather rare and elusive native Galar Pokémon. In order, the grass type chimp Grookey, the fire type bunny Scorbunny, and the water type lizard Sobble.

Hop and Gloria gaped in amazement at the sight of the rare pokemon while Leon chuckled at the teens stunned expression as the three young Pokémon took in their new surroundings.

Wasting no time, Grookey immediately chirped, "( Banzai! )" as he rushed over to the tree by the pond. Upon seeing their friend make a break for it, the other two gave each other looks of uncertainly before they went exploring out on their own, Scorbunny going further to the center of the arena and Sobble headed towards the pond.

Grookey made a beeline for the tree and quickly began scaling up, disappearing into the tree tops. Nearby, Sobble made a dive into the pond, while Scorbunny was looking around for something to play with.

Breaking her eyes away from the adorable sight, Gloria turned to look at a grinning Leon in shock. " How... how did you get these guys? Not just anyone has some of the rarest Pokémon in all Galar on hand!" She asked with narrow eyes, some truth in her statement. It was almost impossible to find one of these Pokémon without some serious money and expensive breeders.

Inteleon and Cinderace were extinct in the wild, being more bred for sports and espionage. And while Rillaboom still persisted in the wild, it was at a very small percentage at a exclusive reserve out in the jungle and very few people owned one, mainly musicians due to the grass types expertise drumming skills. Gloria particularly thought of one Rillaboom apart of a popular all Pokémon band called the Maximizers, along with two Toxtricity and an Obstagoon.

Her mother happened to be quite a fan.

The violet hair champion only grinned wider, if that was possible. " An old friend of mine is a breeder and thought these little guy's would make great additions to my team."

" Whoa...Lee, that's so cool!" Hop exclaimed in excitement, free from his shock and more in awe of these three rare Pokémon.

"It is pretty cool, right? Little guys were all bred specifically for me. Lots of time and effort put into them." he said, as they looked over the playing pokemon. Much to Leon's amusement, it looked like Rex and Grookey had hit it off, the small grass type tapping its stick to a certain beat while Rex was tapping his tail to the beat, a small toothy grin on the fire types face.
