Everyone in the town knew him; the screw up; the fish bone; the freak.

No one knows what he was really like; a side only they knew. He was brave, kind and full of wonder.

Hiccup did not eat with the Vikings; nor did he fight on their side and he definitely didn't want to die for them.

Hiccup was an unknown outcast; hidden by the masks he would hide himself under. He hid and fled knowing no one could ever find out who he was; what he was.

The black wings and scales, the green slit eyes, the tail and ears only a dragon could have; they sawed across the sky in silent grace.

In the sky he was free, here he was free.
