Chapter 10

Bakugo's POV
Deku left the room. I walk over and flop on the bed, burying my face in the pillow. I can't sleep. I'm too tense and upset to sleep. I just lay there for about twenty to thirty minutes. Pretty soon, Deku comes back into the room. I pretend to be asleep. "No!" He screams, slamming the door. What was that about? "Ugh! Why does she have to be here. This is so stupid." He complains. Should I ask? Yeah. I sit up. "Uh, you good, Deku?" I ask him. "No." He replies, madly. "You wanna talk about it?" I ask. He considers this. "No. Plus, why do you care?" He answers me. "Cause, I do. What's wrong?" I tell him. He walks over and sits next to me. "It's a long story, Kacchan." "I got time." He looks at me and sighs. "Fine. My stupid sister is here." He says, mad all over again. "Wait, your sister, as in Izari?" I ask, confused. "Yes. She's here." He said. "But, I thought you two were close?" I say, still confused. "We were. We had a fight." He tells me. "Oh." He sighs. I look over at him. He now looked more sad then mad. I put my arm around his shoulders, allowing him to lean his head on my shoulder. "Why don't you two make up?" I ask him. "I've tried. She just gets more mad then we fight all over again." He explains. "Oh. Well, why is she so mad at you?" I ask, confused all over again. "I don't want to talk about it. Can we just drop it now?" Deku says. "Fine." I give in. Suddenly, the door opens, revealing Izari. "Ever heard of knocking?" Deku asks, standing up. "Nope. I need your help though." She answers. "As if. Go away." He crosses his arms and looks away.

Deku's POV
Why would she need my help? She hates me! "Please. It's about Hansuke!" She practically yells. I tense. "What do you need?" I ask, immediately. Kacchan looked confused. I don't blame him though. I literally just told her I wouldn't help. "He did something to Naomi and Sai. I don't know what though." She sounded worried. "What do you mean?" What did he do this time? "They took one look at me and tried to kill me. It had to be him!" She said, breathing heavy. "Hey, calm down. I'm sure they'll be fine." I say softly, walking towards her. I pull her into a hug and she flinches. "Shhhh, it's okay." I say, rubbing her back. She buries her face in my shirt and cries. I do my best to comfort her.
