History

"They want one more song for the album." Liam informed them.

"I have no more songs in me." Harry muttered.

Louis gave him a long look. Harry had been in a real mood lately, or since they separated or whatever. He knew that Harry was hurting as much as he was, probably more. He at least had a way to escape the pain even if it was a really shitty one.
"I can write it. I have some things that I need to get off my chest." He offered and Harry glared at him.

"I'll help you." Liam said.

Harry left the room and Niall went after him.
"How are you holding up?" Liam asked as soon as they were alone.

"Honestly, not at all, but I can't talk about Harry." Louis answered.

"Is it really over this time? You're married." Liam said.

"I think it is. I really screwed up." Louis answered, his lower lip started to tremble and he had to take a deep breath and push away the tears that were threatening to spill over.

"I'm sorry Louis." Liam said compassionately.

"Yeah, I'm going to rehab as soon as we go on a hiatus. You should come with me." Louis suggested.

Liam's cheeks turned pink.
"I probably should."

It wasn't a yes but Louis understood. He didn't push it. Instead, he found a notebook and started to write. He had so many thoughts and feelings that needed to come out. He showed Liam the first part of the verse that he had come up with.

"It's like that huh?" Liam said and wrote the rest of the verse.

Louis wrote the chorus.

Liam read it and added one last line to the chorus and Louis nodded his head in approval.

Louis continued with the second verse.

"Great, and then the chorus again." Liam said.

The song needed a bridge and Louis's hand flew over the paper as he put the words together.

They added the chorus one last time and Liam finished it off with an outro.

"This is depressing." Liam stated when they were done.

"Life is depressing." Louis answered.

They finished the tour and then they went into the studio to record the last few songs for the album. Harry lost it when he heard Love you goodbye for the first time and locked himself inside a toilet for half an hour. He managed to pull himself together and recorded his vocals for the song. Then he went out and got drunk.

Their label informed them that Louis's song Home wouldn't be on the album. He wouldn't have it! He wrote that song for Harry. He somehow managed to get Spotify to leak it. It took a lot of phone calls. He then tweeted about it.

They had to do a deluxe version too, of course. They recorded a song called Temporary fix that Niall had written, wolves by Niall and Liam, and of course Made in the A.M that they all wrote. It was just stupid that it only was put on the deluxe album when the album was named after it but they didn't make the rules. 

The last song they recorded was a song Harry had written called Walking in the wind. Louis read the lyrics and some of it really stood out. This was Harry's goodbye song to him?
