Chapter 10

When Alex and I became noticed by Luke and Reggie they rushed over. Luke jumped on Alex's back causing Alex to stumble a little.

"That was awesome!" Luke cheered as he was clinging to Alex

"Yes wonderful," Alex said quickly as Luke jumped down "don't you think this is weird! I mean everyone in the room saw us. We're ghost! People can't just see us"

Luke placed his hands on Alex's shoulder, "who cares! This is proof that people can actually see us, this is our second chance at making music! be excited dude!"

"Look it's Julie!" Reggie exclaimed pointing causing us to all look in the direction he was pointing to

The boys quickly vanished over to her, forming a pyramid as they exclaimed her name. "Julie!" They yelled out causing her to jump in surprise. I let out a small laugh and quickly appeared beside Reggie.

"Agh! Stop doing that," Julie complained "I'm serious"

"Woah, this one is all on you. We were already here" Reggie told her "well actually, we were over there, and then came over here"

I rolled my eyes playfully as I got closer to Julie, "what he means is that we've been here the whole time waiting for you"

"Are we not going to talk about what just happens?" Luke interrupted

"Yeah, the whole school saw you. It's freaking me out." Julie stated

"Okay, good, 'cause it's freaking me out too" Alex agreed "you know, you could see us, and people can see us whenever we play music, and my clothes are made out of air but for some reason, I'm still getting a wedgie" He rambled

I looked at Alex concerned as he appeared to be getting super anxious. I placed a hand on his arm and tried to get him to mimic my 'breathing'.

"So many questions" Alex stated as he finally relaxed

"The important thing is that we rocked that place, they were loving you!" Luke said as he looked at Julie

"Are you kidding! They loved us!" Julie corrected him with a huge smile on her face

"We were pretty wicked" I shrugged with a smile

"And did you see the cheerleaders looking at me? I think they were looking at me. Please tell me they were looking at me." Reggie exclaimed causing Luke to grab his shoulders in excitement

"Bro, They were looking at you!" Luke nodded

"Oh, I knew it!" Reggie squealed like a teenage girl

I closed my eyes briefly before looking at Julie who seemed to notice my reaction.

"Reggie wasn't the only one!" Julie blurted out causing the four of us to look at her

She let out a small cough, "did you see the lacrosse team looking at Amelia like she was Candy? They really took an interest in her"

Immediately Reggie seemed less excited as he quickly exchanged glances with Luke and Alex. I looked at Julie in appreciation and mouthed her a thank you, to which she replied with a wink.

"I'm..so confused, you know?" Alex said in a daze "the afterlife should come with instructions or a quick start guide or something!"

"The handbook for the recently deceased would be good right about now, but unfortunately this isn't Beetlejuice" I stated

"Who?" Luke asked

"You know? The demon with the crazy green hair that messes around with the living, tried to marry a 15-year-old? The best cinematic movie ever made, the same Beetlejuice that got made into a musical? You say his name three times and he appears? Come on! You haven't heard of B-" I started ranting in disbelief
