Chapter 6

Luke looked at me with a hurt expression as I stood there folding my arms. I've only known these boys for a couple of hours but they were surprisingly very predictable.

"I didn't do anything" he exclaimed

"This is why no one hugs you" Reggie mumbled as he backed away from Alex

"Clearly I missed something here" I stated

"Never mind that, I think the first thing we should do, once we get the courage to go in there, is to ask Julie why she lied about playing piano," Luke told us

My eyes widened slightly, oh Julie was not going to like this.

"Yeah, you know, maybe tell her she's amazing?" Alex adds "you to Mel, I knew you could play but your voice! Woah"

"Yeah, of course, bro." Luke says while patting Alex on the shoulder "and Amelia he's right you got killer pipes"

"You both are legit, I got ghost bumps," Reggie says motioning towards his arms

I let out a smile and waved my hand passed my face, "you three flatter me too much"

"Wait Why can't we just ask Mel about Julie?" Reggie asked

"Because she won't tell us" Alex said as it was obvious

I let out a chuckle and shook my head.

"I can definitely tell you it's just-"

I was cut off when I heard the sound of the gate opening up, I watched as Flynn shut the gate harshly and ran down the steps.

I looked at her with great concern as she entered the studio quietly sobbing.

"Oh my gosh, was she crying too?" Alex asked turning to all of us

"Yes! And The only thing scarier than one girl crying it's two girls crying" Luke whispered causing Alex and Reggie's eyes to widen in fear

"He's right" Alex agreed

"Have you two ever actually been in a room with a crying girl?" I asked

"Guys we definitely can't go in there," Luke said

"You can't but I already told Julie I'd be back in there," I told them

"While Mel goes in, we can listen" Reggie added

"Not what I was referring to but sure, just make sure she doesn't catch you"

I knew they weren't going to listen to me so I rather just let them have their fun or whatever they planned on doing. I slowly walked into the room so I didn't startle Julie when she saw me she smiled and I sat on top of the piano while looking at Flynn who was ranting about seven sodas.

"Wait I have to tell you something," Julie said

"No, it's my turn to talk" Flynn interrupted " you can't give Up music! Music is like a gift, so that would be a tragedy. You're basically, like, canceling Christmas and I love Christmas!"

"Flynn, I -uh- uh!" Julie tries again

"When we were six we promised to be in a band together. Double trouble" Flynn interrupted again

"I never agreed to that name" Julie grinned

"Proper thing" I added

"Jules, if you leave the music program, we'll be apart forever. That's just what happens! Sure we'll see each other in the hall sometimes but we will have different lives, we'll make new friends" Flynn rambles
