The school gym was filled with students as they all jumped and danced around to the music. Laughter was everywhere but the tension coming from Julie was definitely not hard to miss.
"Alright, BobCats make some noise!!" Flynn's voice boomed as she yelled into the mic
Flynn made eye contact with Julie shortly after and eagerly waved her over. I gave Julie a quick wink before I vanished from her side and to the stage. Appearing next to Flynn I was greeted with a huge smile. I smiled wide and waved before tilting my head towards backstage. She nodded her head and pointed backstage as Julie walked up the stairs to the stage.
"How are you feeling!?" Flynn asked excitedly
"I'm a little nervous" Julie admitted
"A little? Julie the amount of tension in your whole body can easily shut this party down" I joked causing Julie to roll her eyes at me As the two of them joined me backstage
"You two look amazing!" Flynn gushed as she looked at the two of us
"Thanks!" Julie said as she hugged Flynn
"Appreciate the compliment," I said blowing Flynn a kiss
"It's my mom's Amelia went through her stuff and I figured to actually go through it now," Julie told her
"She would have loved that you wore that," Flynn says with a smile
"She absolutely would have, though I would like to argue that you wore it best" I shrugged
"Are the guys here?" Flynn asked looking around
"No. But they will be" I answered
"They know how important this is to me and to Amelia" Julie finishes
"They also promised" I added

Hours had passed and the boys were nowhere to be seen. Julie was sitting on the floor playing with the fake hologram machine beside her, Flynn was playing music and dancing at her DJ booth while I was pacing back and forth wondering where the boys disappeared to.
"Is everyone fired up for Julie and the Phantoms!?" Flynn announced making the crowd cheer
I turned towards the stage and chuckled lightly at our new band name. Before returning back to pacing around.
"Great! Keep that fire for later cause we're running a bit behind schedule. But don't worry, and enjoy some of these mind-blowing beats"
Flynn turned a knob to start a song and came backstage to see Julie and me.
"Julie and the Phantoms?" Julie asked
"I had some free time in French Class. And you better like it because I registered it on Insta, Twitter, Snapchat..." Julie pushed her hands down as she counted platforms
"No I love it" Julie said
"That's so clever really has a ring to it as well as a double meaning," I said stopping in my tracks and turning towards the two girls
"But I would love it more if the rest of the actual phantoms were here" Julie mentioned making me shake my head in disappointment
"I'm going to go look for the boys" I announced causing the two girls to look at me
"Do you even know where to look?" Flynn asked
"I have my suspicions" I answered "plus by the looks of it lover boy is coming over so while Julie talks to Nick I'll be looking for our band"
