You started to grow impatient now. Your boyfriend told you there was a surprise for you today, but he blindfolded you and left you in the car for a while. Ben knew you disliked winter. Sure, the snow looked pretty sometimes and winter clothes were chic, but London and its brutal temperatures never made you happy. It felt like everything got pulled down into a huge vortex of unbearable temperatures. In the middle of this, he decided he would take you somewhere.

You heard your side of the car door open and Ben taking your hand. You were wearing a thick black coat, but your face still got hit with a blast of cold air. "This is what happens when I date a boy with the last name Chilwell," you rolled your eyes. You heard a chuckle from your boyfriend.

"Very original, sweetheart," he said as he guided you out.

You felt muddy snow under your boots and wondered where on earth he was taking you. "Ben, take the blindfold off already," you groaned.

"Just a little bit more, and it'll all be worth it. I promise," he assured you. "Okay, now duck."

You were confused but did as told. It suddenly felt a bit warm. So you were shielded from the cold air now. You touched around with your other hand and felt a seat, so you sat down. Then you felt Ben take off your blindfold. You gasped when you saw where you were. It was a beautiful glass igloo with fairy lights adorning the ceiling.

"Ben, you didn't," you said as you looked around.

"But I did," he laughed. "I know you hate the cold but it's been a while since we've been anywhere, so what better place?"

You placed your hands into his. "Aww, thank you so much! Sorry for acting like a brat. I just didn't know what you were doing. But this view is stunning," you said as you looked through the glass and saw the beautiful evening sky and Tower Bridge.

"Mhm, it is," he said. You turned around and looked at him staring at you. You rolled your eyes and blushed.

"You are really corny," you shook your head.

"Anything to get you laughing. Now, anything you'd like for dinner, my lady?" Ben attempted a posh British accent.

"Why yes," you said as you picked up the menu.

You both spent the evening laughing and talking, just enjoying each other's company. You were so blessed to have Ben to cheer you up, spoil you, and make you laugh.
