EXTREMELY IMPORTANT Before-Chapter Note:
I don't want to generically copy 99% of the episode (I'm specifically covering Part 2 here anyway), just the things that would be different, because a generic copy with not that many different scenes (in comparison to the rest, that is) would be boring. So, I'd recommend watching the episode before coming here. You can find relatively high-quality episodes of the Kirby anime dub on Dailymotion (which is what I've been using to watch the series), even episodes like A Chow Challenge and Shell-Shocked. You can use it for free as a website (and, based on my experience, I can confidently say that there are way less ads than on Youtube. I think I've only encountered one or two while watching almost the entire series [the only things I haven't watched are the last five episodes... technically. I watched them a long time ago on DVD [heck, I still have the DVD to this day], but I only have vague memories from that. I'll get to watching the final five eventually [when I decide to stop being lazy... and also to tackle some real life stuff], but for now I'm using the Kirby Wiki and stuff like that).
Basically: I don't wanna bore you guys, so please watch the episode before you read this if you haven't watched it already (or if you just need to refresh your memory).
Tl;dr: Please watch both parts of Prediction Predicament before reading, many things aren't mentioned so as to not just copy the episode (also because I'm only following G. Kirby's perspective for this one, so he wouldn't be there for most of them).
I wanted to state that before anyone here who hasn't seen the episode wonders why the heck Dedede builds a playground for the children.
I decided that the first episode I'd use to explore how the presence of the game cast would influence the anime would be Prediction Predicament- Part 2 since, well... look up "Star Slam Heroes" and you'll see why (and yes, this means I am somewhat trying to work in Star Slam Heroes as part of game canon in a way [you'll see why).
Final thing to note is that this chapter "leads right into" the next chapter (by that I mean: the next chapter will take place on the same day). However, I have not started writing it yet...
It will probably be better than this one. Part of me feels I could've done more and that this is too short. Apologies if it is.
~~~~~~~~~~
What was G. Kirby supposed to say? He had come to visit his other-universe pals, and now he was being told that a giant asteroid was going to crash into their Dream Land.
Tiff was looking through books and doing math on a calculator. Or at least, G. Kirby assumed that's what she was doing. He didn't know how to do math. He didn't even know how to read.
"S-So, what're you doing?" he asked Tiff.
"I'm trying to figure out when the asteroid is going to collide with Dream Land."
"...I wish I could help, but I don't know how. I don't really know anything about books and math and stuff..."
"Look, it's fine, but I need to hurry!! I still don't know when it's going to happen!! Just... sit down for now if you can't help."
"Ok..."
After enough math, Tiff had finally come up with an answer, though her first instinct was to rush to tell everyone in town what it was, so all G. Kirby could do was follow her as she ran around Cappy Town, only to find that nobody was there. Immediately, the next place she headed to was... a canyon.
"T-Tiff!" G. Kirby called to her from behind, trying to keep up (Tiff was running surprisingly fast). "Where are we going??"
"This is Kabu Canyon! If everyone went somewhere all at once, this is where they'd go!"
