G. Kirby had fallen asleep, taking a nice nap. Tiff was still reading. The others were still playing. Everything was nice and peaceful...
Until they heard the sound of something approaching from Castle Dedede.
"Wh-What's that?!" G. Kirby asked, waking up with a jolt.
"Uh," Tiff said before gulping, staring at... what was very clearly Dedede's newest monster.
"A-A MONSTER!!!" she screamed, getting the attention of Tuff and A. Kirby as the other children ran away in fear.
"Not again!!" Tuff yelled, running over with A. Kirby.
"What do you mean 'again?" G. Kirby asked.
"Dedede in our world likes to order monsters from this company called NightMare Enterprises! He uses them to try to get rid of Kirby!"
"Hmm... and that one over there looks like Masher from my world!" G. Kirby said. "But whatever he is, we've gotta stop him before he destroys us! Let's go!"
"Poyo!" A. Kirby said, inspired by G. Kirby's courage.
However, once Masher noticed them and swung his flail, G. Kirby got hit rather quickly, knocked into a tree.
"Ow..." he said.
His counterpart managed to dodge both that hit and the next (mostly thanks to his small size). G. Kirby was impressed... and then switched to worried once he noticed:
"H-His attacks don't leave star projectiles!?!"
"What?" Tiff asked.
"Wh-When I fight people in my world, their attacks leave behind these star things I can inhale and spit back out at them when I don't have a Copy Ability. I-If this one doesn't have one... w-we need abilities, ASAP!!!"
"B-But where are we gonna just get an ability from!?"
"...I-I'll go look for something! You guys, help my counterpart for now, please!"
G. Kirby ran off to the town to see if he could find anything, but got hit by the monster while running, knocking him through someone's wall. When he woke up, he found... he was in a fortune teller-looking place. He had seen a house like this before, as he had visited NESP's house before... and thinking of NESP gave him an idea. Though the house's owner didn't seem to be home, he was sure they wouldn't mind if he took a little something to help him out.
Quickly, he found something: a crystal ball.
==========
A. Kirby was getting wrecked. Without a copy ability, he had trouble in fights.
"Kirby, suck it up!" Tiff yelled. However, when A. Kirby tried, he found that Masher was... way too big. A. Kirby couldn't suck up things that were too big. So, he got hit again. It seemed as if it was the end, until-
"Guys, I'm back!!"
G. Kirby had come back, now sporting a blue and red cap, slidely titled on the side
"Woah! What ability do you have?" Tuff asked.
"ESP!... I'm guessing you've never seen it before..."
"...wait, where did you get-"
"THERE'S NO TIME!!! I couldn't find anything for the other me!!!"
"Shoot!" Tiff said. "M-Maybe we can hold the monster off long enough for Meta Knight to get here! He'll be able to tell us how to fight back!"
"K, got it! You two stand back!"
==========
"All right, Masher-monster, get ready to face the wrath of ESP! I've learned a lot from my good pal Ness..." G. Kirby said. He started to levitate off the ground, radiating with psychic energy.
"PK SHIFT!!!"
He created an electric field of psychic energy (in ball form), which he could control using the psychokinetic powers given to him by the ESP ability, guiding it around in hopes of distracting Masher enough for Meta Knight to show up. However, he couldn't hold it forever. Eventually, he let it go, causing it to explode. A. Kirby, being the literal infant he was, had just been watching.
After spending some time using the Vanish and Reappear moves (which were exactly what they sounded like) while dashing around Masher in order to confuse him, G. Kirby started to doubt that Meta Knight was coming.
"*sigh* Doesn't look like he'll get here in time... I've gotta think of something... ooh!"
G. Kirby created a smaller electric ball before sending it A. Kirby's way.
"Other me, suck this up!" he yelled. A. Kirby ran closer, skidded to a stop, then started inhaling the air around him, sucking up the small ball, before... jumping up in the air.
A. Kirby's transformation sequence was much more... spectacular than G. Kirby's copy ability transformations were. For instance, this: some kind of blue orb and gold circlet formed around his head as some kind of blue fire started on top of it, but then the fire became blue electricity as he turned green.
"Woah!" Tuff said. "What ability is that??"
"Aw yeah, it's Spark!" G. Kirby exclaimed before Vanish-dashing over to his counterpart.
"So, here's the plan: I'll distract Masher, then you run in and electrocute him. He's a robot, so you should end up overloading it or something. I dunno, it's worked against robots before for me, so why not?"
"Poyo!" A. Kirby responded. G. Kirby didn't know whether or not his younger counterpart understood, but he supposed he might as well give it a try.
G. Kirby ran past Masher again, then skidded to a stop when he was a good distance away before creating another electric field and using it to hit the monster three times before it exploded, allowing A. Kirby to sneak up next to Masher and charge up an electric attack, before discharging the electric energy around his body, electrocuting him.
Once A. Kirby finished the attack, he ran over to stand next to his older counterpart. After waiting a few seconds...
Masher exploded.
Dedede had been watching from his Castle's balcony via binoculars, and basically started to throw a temper tantrum. Somehow, NightMare Enterprises' strongest monster couldn't defeat two Kirbies.
Tiff and Tuff stared in awe for a few seconds.
"That... was... SO AWESOME!!!" Tuff exclaimed.
"Oh, it was nothing!" G. Kirby said, giving the closest thing to a shrug that he could.
