Here's the usual "before chapter note:" Some characters get introduced in this chapter and, though they won't appear in the very next chapter (as it mainly focuses on two characters interacting), and some may not appear for multiple, they will eventually get their focus (well, most of them. The ones who can be classed as "important characters," at least. I don't think the random Waddle Dee from the beginning of Squeak Squad [who was probably just a placeholder sprite they forgot to replace] is really gonna be that significant).

Also, I'm really hoping I didn't miss any mistakes when going over it.

And apologies if this chapter disappoints anyone (like I fear it may), I'm gonna put as much as I can into the next one. I swear. Heck, I've already started on it because I'm really excited for it.

"Wait, what?!"

It wasn't exactly the best way to start off a day of showing your three other-world friends around your universe.

It had begun as a normal day in G-verse Dream Land: Bright, sunny, and cheerful, just as Dream Land always was... half the time, with the other half being full of chaos and horror. G. Kirby had been showing his pals (Tiff, Tuff, and A. Kirby) around, starting with Castle Dedede, as G. Kirby had wanted to introduce them to one of his best friends, Bandana Waddle Dee. However...

"I told you, he's been hiding since this morning!!" Dedede said. "He was running all over the place, and then he just locked himself in my room!! I forgot my hammer in there, but he won't open the door!!"

"...why not just break the door down?" Tuff asked.

"It's Bandana Dee. I'm not gonna scare him like that. He already gets scared way too easily. He'd never get over it."

"Well, why is he hiding?" Tiff asked. "We need to know the reason why if we want to convince him to come out."

"Well, guess you can try asking him," Dedede said, shrugging, "I tried already, but he wouldn't tell me. Maybe he'll tell you guys."

"Bandana!!! Can you tell me what's wrong?? It's me, Kirby!!!" G. Kirby yelled, close to the door. He knocked on the door, but to no response. "...please just tell us why you're hiding. I've brought new friends..."

Finally, he got a reply.

"I-I lost my bandana... I looked all over the place and I couldn't find it anywhere!! I-I can't go out like this..." Bandana said... much to Tiff and Tuff's surprise.

"Wait a second, your Waddle Dees can talk like we do?!" Tiff asked.

"Uh, yeah..." G. Kirby said, "is it different in your world?"

"They have their own language in ours," Tuff said, "Waddle Doo has to translate."

"Huh, well, that's weird," G. Kirby said.

"...W-Wait, what about worlds?" Bandana asked from behind the door.

"I'll explain later. Anyways, do you have any idea where you could've lost it?" G. Kirby asked.

"N-No, I left it where I always did, right at my bedside. I-I think someone might've stolen it..."

"Oh. Well, don't worry! We'll find it for you, I swear!"

"Th-Thanks, Kirby..."

G. Kirby had insisted on getting into detective attire for this situation (though they had to keep A. Kirby from eating a magnifying glass). Tuff seemed glad to do so, while Tiff seemed more concerned with the mystery at hand. A. Kirby, on the other hand, was still a literal infant. The stereotypical brown trench coats and hats would surely show that they were ready to solve a mystery.
