Chapter 1: Stuck in Another Dimension

Important Before Story Notes:

*This is a crossover of the Kirby video game series and the early 2000s anime adaptation known as Kirby: Right Back at Ya!

*I end up using some official art at some point, so just note that my drawings suck so the official artwork is NOT mine.

*I have a few headcanons applied here, like the names of the multicolored Kirbies from Amazing Mirror (I just call Red Kirby "Red," but I gave Green Kirby the name that the green Kirby with dark green feet [different from the Amazing Mirror one, who has orange feet] has, that being Kusamochi, and I call Yellow Kirby the name of the second player yellow Kirby in Kirby's Dream Course, Keeby).

*Since Master Hand and Crazy Hand appear as bosses in the game Kirby & the Amazing Mirror, I'm going to consider Super Smash Bros. canon to some degree. I've tried my best to justify it. 

*I'll try to keep the events of the Meta Knightmare-related sub-games, as well as Dededetour, to the same degree of "canonicity" they have in canon: they're "what if" scenarios, but certain aspects of them are canon (specifically when it comes to characters and lore details). Same with things like the True Arena. The anime-equivalent to this is that I may end up making some references to the pilot and Kirby 3D. 

*I hope I'll portray N.M.E Sales Guy/Customer Service correctly. I swear, I looked through multiple episodes to see if I could write his dialogue correctly... well, the way 4Kids characterizes him, at least.

*I normally portray game Kirby as either unable to speak outside of a few words or just unable to speak correctly, but that gets annoying to write so that doesn't show up here. Sorry!

*Yes, I'm using the dub names. They're what I'm used to, ok? In cases like Lololo and Lalala, however, I'll be keeping them the same as the original.

*This fic takes place before the episode "Monster Management" in the anime timeline, and after Kirby Fighters 2 in the game timeline.

*This book contains no OCs.

...I probably still explained that poorly, and will probably remove this note in the future for that reason.

*Finally, and this is EXTRA IMPORTANT: 

When I use ~, I signify a scene change.

When I use =, I signify both a scene and perspective change.

"Ngggh... what's this place?"

Kirby slowly opened his eyes in an unfamiliar environment. It seemed he had ended up in someone's bedroom. He was lying on his back on the floor.

"I probably shouldn't have let Susie test out her 'multiversal portal gun' on me," he thought to himself. Susie had been working on a way to travel across whole universes with ease (in a marketable fashion, that is; something she could profit off), and Kirby had offered to help her test it out (despite Meta Knight's protests). He slowly sat up, taking a few seconds to gaze around at the room (the first two things he noticed were the large canopy bed and the grandfather clock), when he heard a girl's voice come from somewhere in the other direction than he was facing.

"What in the-?!"

He turned around. She appeared to be young, a kid. She wore a pink and green dress, her hair (the same yellow color as her skin) in a ponytail. She seemed... surprised, shocked even. She and Kirby stared at each other for a good few seconds before she finally spoke.

"Who... who are you, and why do you look like Kirby?"

"...huh? But... I am Kirby... and who are you?" he responded.
